"What's his sentence?" Cameron was sitting with Zoey at the park. Zoey sighed. "He's going to be in there a while, it'll be ages before I ever see him again." Zoey seemed to be in some depressed state. Mike's been gone for only two weeks and she's already falling apart at the seams. "Look Zoey, I know you're upset about Mike's disappearance, but you shouldn't beat yourself up about it. Mike wouldn't have wanted that from you."
Zoey sighed. "You're right Cam, I guess it's just that Mike takes up most of my mind, ever since I met him I never wanted to go back to a life without him. It must be terrible for him in prison." Zoey looked down and drew pictures of hearts in the mud with a stick. Cameron patted her on the back. "I'm sure it's just as hard for Mike to be away from you as you are to be away from him."
Zoey decided to go home shortly afterwards. Maybe there was something there to distract her from Mike. On her way she ran into Noah and Owen. "Oh, hi guys." She noticed that Noah's leg was bandaged and he was walking on crutches. "Hi Zoey!" Owen replied, "how've ya been?" Zoey shrugged. "Oh you know, just by myself, doing nothing interesting." The two boys nodded. "What about Noah? Is he okay?"
"Oh yeah. My little buddy's doing great. Doctor's said he lost a lot of blood that night but he lived." "Yeah Owen, she knows that, otherwise I wouldn't be alive and here. Izzy and Justin are said to be fine too." Zoey nodded. "Well, I gotta go, see ya!" As she walked off the boys exchanged waves and that reminded her of what Mike did seconds before he left.
Zoey got back to her house to see that the mail had came while she was gone. She took it out to see how much junk she's received. Then she noticed one addressed especially to her. It didn't look like a bill. She went inside to see what it was, her heart skipped a beat when she opened it to realise that it was a letter from Mike. She read right through it, over and over, until she knew it off by heart.
It's been two weeks now, it's hard here in jail, especially not having you or Cam to talk to. The food is scarily similar to the food we had on Total Drama, but that only just reminds me more of you as that was where we first met. If I was to come here a year ago I would never survive out here, but you've helped me.
I'm toughing it out in here, because I know that one day I'll be let out, and when that moment comes, I'll immediately come back for you, I know you would've done the same for me,
See you then,
Zoey smiled and held the letter to her chest. "I'll be waiting," she whispered, "I'll see you soon."
