After my shower, I collapsed onto my bed and closed my eyes to think. I can't really look at the bad in staying here alone for summer. I get the whole house to myself for the entire break, with rare check ins from Grams and Gramps. Who knows, I could even through a party, not that anyone would even show up, but the thought of it made me smile. Shooing the thoughts from my mind, I got up off the bed and grabbed my laptop off of my desk, and laid back on my bed.
When I opened my laptop, I had already been signed into Peeps, so I checked my profile. I had one new notification. It had been from Adam, a peep request. Immediately, I clicked his profile. He had way more peeps than I'd ever have. More desires and preferences, but it didn't bother me. I couldn't care less about Adam, or his friends, so instead of Peeping him back, I restricted him.
My Peeps account was lame. I only had one hundred and fifty seven peeps, not to mention the majority of them were from people in my family. So I looked through it one last time before I decide on deleting it, to make a completely different one. This time, better.
I needed to use someone else's life and make it as my own.
After selecting the perfect girl, I made my profile. Camryn17 is what I decided the name should be. The girl I had chosen was beautiful, way prettier than I ever thought I was, so it was perfect.
Camryn would be her name, Cammie for short.
After making my Peeps account, I sent peep requests to a bunch of random people, people I didn't know. I'd be fun right? Pretending to be someone else for a change. Nothing I'm doing is bad, it won't hurt anyone, so why the hell not?
Composing my first peeper, was easy, just a simple introduction.
Camryn17: hey everyone, I'm Camryn. You can call me Cammie. 😜
After I was finished customizing my Peeps account, I got off the computer and made my way downstairs. I thought it'd be a good idea to apologize to my parents for overreacting.
"Mom? Dad?" I called out, but no one replied.
Maybe they'd gone out to get dinner. I walked over to the window, I glanced outside to see if their car was gone, but it wasn't. It had still been parked exactly the same way it had been when I had gotten home from school.
"Mom? Dad?" I called again, this time walking towards the kitchen, the lights had been out, so I flicked them on and noticed a note laying on the island.
Aria: We're sorry for telling you in such a short period of time, but we couldn't miss our flight. We left you some cash inside the junk drawer and we left our car there for you to drive. We didn't have time to say goodbye, so we wrote you this letter. We love you, and please take care of the house.
P.s. Go over to the Bieber's house for dinner tonight. Pattie invited you over, and she'll be expecting you to show up. Say hi to Adam and Justin for us. Love you baby girl. -Love Mom and Dad.
I rolled my eyes at the last part of the letter and mentally thanked them for leaving me cash. I threw the letter away, checked the junk drawer and pulled out the money they had left. Five hundred dollars, it was. I tuck it into my sweatpants pocket and walked back to my room to change my clothes to go to Adam's house.
When I got to Adam's house, he opened the door.
"Aria, what are you doing here?" He questioned with a smirk on his face. "Did you come over here to take me up on my offer?" He chuckled.
"No, Adam. I came over here because your mom is expecting me for dinner," I replied with my arms folded across my chest.
"Oh, well, I guess I have to let you in then, huh?"
"Adam, please move. I don't want to be here just as much as you don't want me here."
"Touché," Adam replied, stepping out of the way so I could get past. When I walked in, I noticed Justin sitting on the couch in the den.
"Hey Aria, it's nice to see you, take a seat in the den and we'll let you know when dinner is finished." Mrs. Bieber spoke, stirring whatever had been in the pot.
"Hey Mrs. B," I waved.
"Oh sweetie, call me Pattie," she responded. I smiled at her and nodded my head.
Adam led me to the den and I took a seat on the opposite end of the couch Justin was on.
When I sat down, Justin looked at me and smiled. I furrowed my eyebrows and pulled my phone from my jacket pocket, immediately opening up Peeps and signing into my new account.
"Hey?" Justin smiled, more as a question than a greeting.
"Hey," I whispered back, keeping my focus on my phone.
"Whatcha doing?" He questioned.
"Just on Peeps? Why?"
"Yeah Justin, why? You seem so interested in what she's doing. I guess both of our questions is why?" Adam asked with a hint of attitude present in his voice.
"I'm just trying to be friendly. Is that a crime?" He questioned, glancing at Adam, then at me.
"Adam, come in here for a second please?" Pattie called. Adam groaned but stood up from the love seat to go see what his mom wanted.
"Well, when you're brothers with Adam, it is. It's not hard to tell that he hates me. So why would you, his brother, want to be "friendly" to me?" I asked, locking my phone and putting my full attention on Justin.
"Just because Adam doesn't like you, doesn't mean I can't," Justin replied.
I didn't say anything back, I just looked at him a little longer, than grabbed my phone out of my lap.
"What?" He questioned, moving in a little closer to me.
"I heard what you said about me Justin," I replied nervously.
"What do you mean?"
"Adam asked you if you liked me earlier. Remember?" Justin raised an eyebrow. "Yeah. I heard what you said, so don't try to pretend like everything is fine."
"I didn't mean it. I only said it because Adam was there," he confessed.
"Yeah, sure. At least I know what you actually think of me," I replied, getting up from the couch.
"You guys, dinner is ready," Pattie smiled. I returned the smile, at walked into the dining room where all the food was prepared on the table.
We all took a seat around the table and grabbed our desired food.
Dinner was quiet awkward. Well for me at least. Pattie and Jeremy were talking to Adam and Justin about school, so I just sat there, taking spoonfuls of my tomato soup.
"So Aria, what about you? How was your last day of school?" Jeremy questioned with a smile on his face. I felt uncomfortable at the way his eyes hungrily desired me, but I pushed it away.
"My last day was," I dragged on looking over to Adam. "It was just like any other day."
"Well sweetie is that good, or bad?" Pattie questioned.
"It's okay I guess," I replied. Soon after, the conversations died and we finished up our dinner in quiet.
"Thanks again for dinner tonight," I spoke to Mrs. And Mr. Bieber as they walked me to the front door. Adam and Justin had already ran upstairs to their rooms to do god knows what.
"No problem sweetie, you're welcome by any time," Mr. B replied. I smiled and waved goodbye as I began walking home. "She's definitely grown up, she's hot. She was a beautiful kid, but boy has she spouted," I heard Mr. Bieber whisper.
"I can see why Adam has such a huge crush on her," Mrs. B replied. I shook my head with a smile on my face, and continued walking home.
When I got home, I put my sweats back on and cuddled into my cover as the bright light on my phone lit up my face.
Camryn17: Magic may be my only hope for love.
After I sent the peeper, I opened my messages app to text my friend Taylor. It's been a while since we talked, but it was always nice to hear from her.
Hey Tay? What's up. I miss you.
I messaged her, locking my phone and sitting it on my bed waiting for her reply.
My phone dinged, and I smiled before I looked at the screen. Taylor was fairly good with replying to my messages so I looked at my phone, expecting to see her message on the screen, but instead it was a Peeps notification. Sliding my phone unlocked, I opened up Peeps to check the notification, it had been a peep message.
Smallviller: You say magic may be your only hope for love. Why's that? You're a very beautiful girl.
