A/N This is a two memory in one chapter one! :) The first memory was very short and I did another one for you.
Then Grandpapa lead the way out of the bathroom. Grandmama and I followed him.
"That's all the rooms downstairs, darling," Grandmama said to me, "Now, I know there's another bathroom upstairs- but we're running late... We'll see the memories from your parents' room and Linoca and your own room, and the upstairs hall- then the garden, and we have to go then."
"Go where?" I asked.
"You'll see," Grandmama smiled.
We went up the stairs and it looked- or maybe I was just imagining it- that we were hardly touching the steps. Just floating up.
We stepped onto the landing and watched as a two year old Linoca and a two year old me bumshuffled across the room to our parents. I went over to Mama and Linoca went to Papa. Our parents took our hands and stood us up. They both stepped backwards and let go. Linoca fell on her bum and I made half a wobbly step and fell into Mama's arms. Papa laughed and stood Linoca up again. Mama lifted me up and put me down again. Mama held my hands and stood up and helped me walk around the landing and Papa did the same with Linoca. Our parents did nothing more but walk around with us until the memory faded.
We went into Linoca and my room then.
A 13 year old me (I was 15 when I died, by the way) was lying in bed, with 3 boxes of tissues on my bedside table and more tissues all over my face. I had kicked the blanket off the bed when I was probably asleep.
A 13 year old Linoca sat on the window cushion thing with a book called "My Shadow and I" and as she turned the page- I coughed and made her jump.
"Anica!" The 13 year old version of Linoca shouted, "You're awake!"
I nodded sadly.
Linoca instantly jumped up and ran over to me. She put a hand to my forehead and tutted while picking up the blanket and wrapping me in it again. She ran out of the bedroom, straight through me. I felt extremely lonely. I wanted to let Linoca know I was here and that I killed myself to be with her and I love her.
Then Linoca came back and- swerved around me this time. She had the bin from the bathroom in her hands and put it down beside the younger me on the floor. She grabbed all the tissues (even the used ones, with no hesitation) and threw them into the bin. Then she checked my forehead again and took the glass of water from my bedside table and sat me up on the cushions. She handed me the glass of water and I drank from it. She brushed my hair away from my face and took it out of my eyes. Then she lay me down again and tuck me in.
"I hope you feel better soon," She said, "Sleep will help. Go back to sleep."
