After my little meeting with Zayn, I had convinced myself to check the kitchen for any corpses. But for now I have to go find Liam and ask for his help on the job.
It was getting pretty late and I need to still find Niall and Pez. I was headed to the gym and had asked for a Liam Payne.
I heard someone clear their throat and say, "Hello, I'm Liam."
I look up to see a man with several tattoos on his toned body. It was clear that this man takes his workout seriously. He was just wearing some basketball shorts and Nike shoes. His hands were covered with red boxing gloves and he had no shirt on.
"Louis sent me here." Was all that I said as his eyes widened a little. He then takes one glove off and grabs my hand, leading me to the locker room.
He opens his locker and takes out his duffel bag. I look around noticing how the locker rooms were unisex and was shocked that some people would just walk around in a towel in front of the gender. I get why it's so steamy in here.
God I hang with Harry too much...
"Here." He says as he puts what seems to be photographs in my hand. He also hands me a gun, which makes my eyes widen.
"I don't know how to work a gun!" I shout as he covers my mouth and says, "Do you mind? I don't want to be arrested for carrying a weapon. Now hide it in your bag!"
I do exactly as he says and look down at the pictures.
"What are these for?" I ask him.
"Those are a few of the missing patients pictures and some of the suspects." He explains while also showing how the patients pictures had a green sticker on it while the suspects had red ones.
"And the gun?" I ask still terrified about the fact that I have one in my bag.
"It's for defense, protection. There's a crazy killer on the loose and you need to stay safe." He answers.
"Okay cool. Uhm anything else?" I ask him as he looks down at his duffel bag.
"Yeah. Trust no one." He says as I gulp a lump in my throat.
After my very terrifying and awkward encounter with Liam, I had only two hours left to go find Niall. I went to the exact location for the store he works at and enter the shop.
I don't really know what he looks like so I think my only hope is to punch in the code Louis gave me.
I walk to the cash register and grab the card scanner. I begin pressing in the buttons and soon hear a small beep sound come out of it.
I stand back and wait for this Niall guy to show up.
"What does the idiot want now?" I heard a voice say as he walks up to me.
Niall appeared to have an Irish accent and was the same height as me. He had dyed blonde hair with his brown roots sticking out and very clear blue eyes. Jesus, I feel like Louis sent me on a search to find myself a bachelor.
"I'm here about the missing patients." I tell him as his eyes widen.
"Oh okay I thought Louis sent you for one of his sexual needs." He says as I close my ears and say, "Ew, too much information."
He sheepishly smiles and says, "Sorry."
"It's alright. Now how can you help me?" I ask him as look inside the counters drawers. He takes out a small box and hands me it. I open it to see a bunch of gadgets and some friendship bracelets, a few pens, and some badges as well.
"What's this for?" I ask him.
"In here are some of my best inventions. The bracelets, pens, badges, and watches have microphones and trackers hidden in them.
"The rest of these are the control. Oh also there's very tiny cameras in them as well." He says as I snort and say, "Like the one in spy kids?"
"Yes, but these are slightly better." He answers.
"Okay so what do I do with them?" I ask as he sighs and says, "The microphones you pass them out to all your suspects. The cameras you hide in areas that you think are suspicious. And these little guys..." He says as he points to an earphone and iPod.
"Those are just hidden disguises of earphones and an iPod. I've attached an antenna that signals anyone wearing the microphones. You can hear everything they say and also track them down. They also are labeled so no need to worry about that." He finishes explaining as I thank him and ask for some last piece of advice.
"Oh um, just don't trust anyone." He says before I walk out of the shop.
