Alex. I watched her still body. She looked so peaceful, eyes closed, pale, still face. I touch her soft chilled cheek gently. She didn't deserve this, she never deserved any of this. It's not fair... It's not fair, it's not fair, it's not fair!!! I let a single tear roll down my splotchy, red, makeup smeared face. The cold salty liquid rolls down my face. It rolls, and rolls, and rolls. It rolls until it falls from my face, and as I watch it, it seems to fall in slow motion. My cold, salty, sorrow-filled tear gently lands on her pale, soft, and fare cheek. I look at it, not knowing what to do. It sits there, not knowing what to do, either. We just stay that way, neither of us knowing what to do. I think of my life, what could I have done to prevent this? It's my fault, all of it. I stand there, just looking at her, still so peaceful.
