“You must be the woman that has inspired the new killing spree that our dear JB is on,” Good spoke as Krystal made her way into the kitchen.
“I guess?” She gave him a smile, “And you are?”
“I'm Ryan, but everybody calls me 'Good' because there's 2 of us. It's nice to meet you,” He stood and shook her hand.
“You too,” She offered another smile, “Did you get in last night?” She wondered, going to the fridge to grab herself a diet coke.
“Yeah. Is JB still asleep?”
“Thankfully,” Krystal nodded, “I don't think he's slept since I got shot. I've had to literally peel him out of his office just to get him to come to bed.”
“That's JB. All about the mission,” Good shook his head, “I thought he was gonna shoot me when I got here last night.”
“Why?” She chuckled.
“I figured y'all were asleep, so I was just gonna pick the lock and let myself in,” Good shrugged, “I forgot though that his hearing is so good. He came to the door with a gun to my head. I guess that's why he's in the position he's in.”
“I don't see that side to him much,” She said softly.
“You're about to see a lot more,” Good stated, “He's on a mission to kill every gang leader out there that threatens us in any way.”
“I don't want him getting hurt,” She frowned.
“If anybody can pull this off, it's JB,” He reassured, “Especially when he's got something on the line.”
“At least you haven't forgotten who I am,” Justin stated, walking into the kitchen and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He wrapped his arms around Krystal and kissed her cheek, “Morning, Princess.”
She smiled, “Morning, Babe.” He pulled away from her after a moment and grabbed a bowl out of the cupboard, pouring himself a bowl of cereal and leaning against the counter as he ate it. She couldn't help but admire how sexy he looked. He was shirtless and he was wearing a pair of black basketball shorts with his black, Calvin Klein boxers peaking out at the top.
“What?” He asked, peeking over his cereal bowl when he realized she was staring.
“You look really sexy right now,” She smirked, causing his cheeks to flush crimson.
“Daaamn,” Good chuckled, “Is the infamous Justin Bieber blushing at the hand of a female?” Justin quickly set his cereal down and pulled Good into a head-lock, pretending he was gonna punch him, “Okay, Okay, I concede, Bro.” Justin let him go, smirking and proud of himself as he picked his cereal back up and began to eat again, “Damn,” Good started rubbing his neck, “For people thinkin' you've gone soft, they obviously forgot who the fuck you are.”
“That's what I been saying,” Justin shrugged, “Muh Fuckas obviously forgot who the fuck they messin' with.” Just then, the buzzer went off. Justin made his way to the video communicator that lead out to the gate and pushed a button, revealing Ryan Butler's face as he picked his nose jokingly.
“Yo, JB, let us in man or Ima jump your gate and pee all over your cars,” Butler spoke. Justin threw his head back, laughing as he pushed another button, opening the gate to let his other 2 friends enter. Once he was sure they'd driven through the gate, he sat his cereal back on the counter and made his way to the front door, opening it and leaving it open before returning to his meal.
“You know, you really coulda let us in on the new pass code, JB,” Chaz spoke as he and Butler entered the kitchen, “We've been out there for 10 minutes punching the old one in.”
“There's a new pass code?” Good asked, “Y'all idiots coulda just did what I did and hopped the gate.”
“I am not leaving my baby parked on the street, man,” Butler shook his head, referring to his '78 Chevy Camero.
“That and you almost got shot because of it,” Krystal reminded from her quiet spot in the corner.
“Well, ain't you a pretty lil' thing,” Chaz flashed her a smile and she cocked an eyebrow at him.
“Don't even look, Bro,” Justin warned, “She's mine.”
“Damn, it's like that?” Chaz gave Justin a look, feigning hurt.
“Yeah. It's exactly like that,” Justin smacked the back of his head with his left hand, signaling that this conversation was over.
“Sorry, man,” Chaz shrugged, “Didn't know the ground rules were different with this one.”
“Everything's different with this one,” Justin replied, glancing at Krystal, “I'm in love with her.”
“I am gonna go upstairs and get ready for the day,” Krystal excused herself, embarrassment evident in her cheeks, “I have a hair and nail appointment.” She walked past Justin.
“You can't go by yourself,” He grabbed her arm, pulling her back as he met her gaze.
“Courtney's going,” She frowned.
“I don't care, Baby. Courtney can't protect you if something happens,” He had a deep frown across his brow, “I'll come with you.”
“You're seriously gonna sit there for 5 plus hours while I get my roots done and my nails filled?” She cocked an eyebrow at him.
“If that's what it takes to make sure you're safe, then yeah,” He shrugged.
“You're being ridiculous,” She sighed, “I am going to the same hair and nail salons that I always go to. Nothing has ever happened before when I've been there. I doubt anything's gonna happen now.”
“I understand that, Baby,” He took a deep breath, trying to rid himself of his anger, “However, due to recent events, I would feel better if I was with you to keep you safe. They've already tried to get to us once. There's no assurance that they won't do something like that again. So, please, just listen to me and let me come with you.”
“Fine,” She let out a deep sigh, “Whatever makes you more comfortable.” She then made her way upstairs, disappearing out of their sight.
“Was that really Justin?” Butler looked at Good, raising his eyebrow, “Usually he just snaps and gets his way. I've never seen him explain himself about anything.”
“She's special to him,” Good shrugged, “Love will make you do wacky shit.”
“I am standing right here, ya know,” Justin rolled his eyes at the fact that his 2 friends were talking about him.
“You've really gone soft, haven't ya, Bro?” Butler was frowning as he looked at Justin.
“No,” Justin frowned as well, “I'm still as lethal as I used to be, but with her my fuse is a lot longer. I love her and I wanna make sure she's safe and happy. I never cared before her.”
“I just really hope she's not a distraction from the mission,” Butler sighed, “I don't wanna see you get hurt because you have to protect some female. I don't wanna see you go soft because of it.”
“I won't,” Justin shook his head, “If anything, it'll make me fight harder. She's the reason I started the mission to begin with. They've all seemed to forget who the hell I am and it's time to put that fear back into their hearts so that I can have a life with her. I'm always looking over my shoulder, but if something were to happen to her, especially if it's because people think I've gone soft, I'm not sure I'd be able to survive. She's everything to me and I'll do anything to make sure she's safe.”
“Well,” Chaz sighed, “I guess that's why we're here.”
“There's gonna be a lot of bad shit coming up,” Justin licked his lips, “I'm gonna need you guys to protect her at all costs and make sure she's safe, no matter what. Can you promise me you'll do that?”
“Of course, JB,” Good was the one to speak as Chaz and Butler nodded their agreement.
“Protecting her is more important than protecting me from here on out,” Justin spoke, “You guys are some of the only people in the world that I trust enough to keep her safe and to fight by my side.”
“This is a pretty big thing we're trying to accomplish, JB,” Butler sighed, “Are you sure we can pull it off?”
“Yes,” Justin nodded once, “If they're not on our side, I want them all dead. I have to teach them a lesson and remind them who the fuck I am. I'm not playin with them this time. They need to know that if they come after me or my girl again, the only way out for them is death.”
“Well, you know I'll be fighting by your side the whole way, Bro,” Butler shrugged, “I'll go down swinging if I have to, but it's gonna be hard to get every single leader. What do we even do about the ones that are doin' time? How are we supposed to get in there and kill them?”
“Let me worry about that. Right now, we just need to plan this perfectly down to the mili-second because we have a schedule to keep for the tour. Did you get any information on the leader of the GDs here in LA?” Justin brow was furrowed in thought.
“Yeah,” Chaz spoke up, “I've got J-Boog working on figuring out his location and where he's gonna be on Thursday night.”
“Good,” Justin nodded again, “That's good. I wanna plan this so that we get the job done and then get the hell outta dodge before anybody notices he's even dead.”
“But isn't that running, JB?” Good wondered.
“No. I'd stay and bask in the aftermath, but it's safer for her if we get the job done and get out as quickly as possible. We're gonna have a lot of bodies stacked by the time we're finished,” Justin was elaborating more on the plan.
“Are you actually gonna be on the front line?” Butler asked, knowing that it had been awhile since Justin was doing the killing.
“Yes. For most of it,” Justin licked his lips, “I especially plan on being there for the Crips and GDs. I want my face to be the last thing they see so they know how bad they fucked up. I'll be there for all the difficult ones.”
“I've got the weapons being sent,” Good informed, “They should be here in the morning. I made sure to hand-pick them. We don't need faulty weapons with this.”
“Did we ever figure out who shot her?” Chaz frowned.
“Yeah. It was the GDs. They're the ones who killed James too,” Justin ran a hand through his hair, “I want Terrance killed first. He's been holding shit down while Larry's been locked up.”
“Are we gonna kill Larry too? I mean, he is still technically the leader of the GDs.” Good asked.
“Yep. I've got someone working on that as we speak,” Justin bit his lip, deep in thought, “So, Thursday it is.”
“Yup,” Butler sighed, “Thursday.”
“I want direct contact with the tech team. I need to know their every move,” Justin commanded, “I want them working 24/7 on getting the information we need to handle this as smoothly as possible.”
“Okay,” Good nodded, “I'll get Mark on it ASAP.”
“Bored yet?” Krystal asked as she sat processing in the stylist chair. They'd been there about 2 hours and Justin was sitting in an empty chair next to her, watching her intently.
“I'm never bored when I'm with you, Princess,” He smiled, “It's actually amusing to see you with a plastic bag on your head.”
“It makes it process faster, ass,” She rolled her eyes playfully, “You should know, you get your hair dyed blond all the time.”
He gave her his signature smile, “I know how it works, Babe. You just have a lot of hair.”
“I know. It's ridiculous,” She sighed, “You should look on your phone for a design to put on my nails.”
“Why don't you just get my name put on them?” He suggested.
“Because as much as I love you, I am not psycho and I don't need your name on my fingernails,” She chuckled. He pulled out his phone and searched 'Nail Designs' on his google, looking through the designs carefully as the stylist took Krystal over to the sink to rinse out the toner that she'd put on after the bleach. She returned to the chair a few moments later and the stylist blew her hair dry and curled it at the ends. Once they were finished, Krystal paid for the services and they made their way out of the salon.
“I really like this one,” He stated, holding his phone out to her as they walked the half a block to her nail salon.
“Me too,” She smiled, taking his phone, “Thanks, Baby.”
“Anytime, Beautiful,” He threw his arm around her shoulder, kissing her cheek as they walked.
“Are you gonna get a Mani-pedi with me?” She teased.
“Maybe,” He shrugged his shoulders with a smile. They approached the door and entered. Letting the workers know what they wanted. They were immediately waited on, their hands being done together as they sat side-by-side. Once their manicures were finished, they made their way to the message chairs for pedicures, holding hands as they each sat in their respective chairs.
“I can't believe you're doing this. You're so fucking cute,” Krystal commented as they finished working on their feet.
He smirked, “I figured it wouldn't hurt to get it done before we leave in a few days. Gotta keep my hands and feet smooth for you, Baby.” She chuckled as they finished and Justin handed the lady his card, paying for both of them.
“Thank you, my love,” She whispered as they left the nail salon, “You didn't have to do that though.”
“I wanted to,” He smiled at her and took her hand, holding it as they walked back to her car, “So, how come Courtney decided not to come?”
“Well, it's her and Aaron's like 800th month anniversary and she decided since you were going, she could skip out and spend the day with Aaron,” She explained as Justin opened the car door for her.
He jogged around to his side and got in, starting the car, “They still celebrate months after they've been together for years?” He pulled out of the parking lot and onto the street, taking her hand like he always did.
“Don't ask me,” She shrugged, “They're weird.” They shared a laugh.
“I love it when you laugh,” He sighed contently and glanced at her before looking back towards the road, “It's one of my favorite sounds.”
“I love it when you laugh too, Baby,” She smirked and leaned a little closer to him, “So, I think we should plan a you and me night tonight. It's been a little while since we had dinner just you and me and then spent the whole night making love to each other.”
“Are you sure you're healed enough for that, Baby?” He asked with a frown, “The last thing I wanna do is damage your wound.”
“I'm fine, Babe. I just miss you. We haven't made love since I got shot,” She secretly worried that he wouldn't want her anymore.
“I've just been worried about hurting you, Princess,” He admitted, “I miss you too. It's been really difficult for me to keep my hands off of you the last week.”
“You don't have to keep your hands off of me anymore, Boo,” She reached up and caressed his face with her knuckles, “I'm almost completely healed. You're not gonna hurt me if we do it.”
“I'll just have to be extra careful,” He smiled, “Do you need to get more stuff from your house?”
“Yes, please,” She smiled cheesily at him and then chuckled, “I feel like I'm moving in.”
“Do you want to?” He raised his eyebrows at his idea and glanced at her.
“What? Are you kidding?” She cocked an eyebrow at him.
“No, I'm not kidding. I want you to move in with me. We're already engaged and we'll end up living together once we're married anyway. I'd love to have you live there with me,” He explained, “That way I can always make sure you're safe.”
“I don't know if I should leave Courtney and Aaron,” She bit her lip as she contemplated.
“You've been spending most of your time at my house anyway, Baby and they can come over anytime they want. We'll even give them the gate code,” He was trying to convince her, “Please?”
“Can I talk to them about it before I give you an answer? I really want to, Babe, I just need to talk to them first,” She squeezed his hand.
“Yes, of course,” He nodded as they pulled up outside of her house, getting out and heading inside to grab some of Krystal's stuff.
