5. Chapter 4: The Party You'll Never Forget

(Picture is Trevor)

“I’m telling you, dude. You would be a great addition, with all your talents and what not.” Trevor yawns, sticking his hand into the bowl of fries in between us.

Trevor Bouldiin was your typical school heartthrob. Bright green eyes, wavy black hair, lip piercings, tattoos. You name it, he has it. We’ve been friends since 8th grade, since he came out as bisexual. When I told him I was gay, we automatically bonded. He liked me for a while, but I told him I like him as a friend, he accepted it, we still joke about it.

“I don’t know. I’m not really for the band stuff.” I responded, stealing a few from him.

“Erin, get up and get ready.” Chris came stumbling down the stairs.

Trevor blushed, standing up and brushing the crumbs off his jeans. “I guess that’s my cue to leave.” He squeaked, scurrying out of the door.

“Get ready for what?” I sighed, looking up at Chris. Her grin told me everything.

“A party, of course! Who do you think I am, not going to a party on a Friday?” She scoffed.

“A normal person,” I muttered. “What do I have to get ready for then?”

“Because you’re coming too, silly.” She giggled.

“But…” I started.

“No buts. You’re coming with me whether you like it or not.” She said stubbornly.

“Fine, let’s get this over with.” Chris clapped her hands.

“You look so good!” Chris squealed, putting the finishing touches on my hair. I grabbed my beanie and stuck it on my head before standing up.

“No, you can’t wear that thing! That was the whole point of me doing your hair!” She screeched, trying to reach my beanie but failing. She stopped and sulked, but then beamed right up again.

“Let’s get going, we don’t want to be late!” She squealed, dragging me to her car. I agreed since my hair was done. We got there in under 20 minutes, but the party was in full swing. People were dancing and drinking and throwing up.

“Chad!” Chris screamed, wrapping her arms around her boyfriend, who was still inches taller than her even in her 4 inch heels.

“You look hot babe! Oh, hey Erin, great to see you, man. How you been?” Chad asked, wrapping his arm around Chris’ shoulders. I nodded at him, and him and Chris automatically disappeared.

“Great.” I groaned, grabbing my phone out of my back pocket. I checked the time. 10:35. Goddamnit, we’ve only been here for fifteen minutes. I sighed and walked to the kitchen to grab a drink. Some girl handed me a beer I gladly accepted and took a couple of gulps out of.

I leaned against a wall and listened to the thumping beat of the music. Antidote by Bryson Tiller played as I sipped my beer. It wasn’t long until I had drank the whole thing. I walked back to the kitchen to grab another one.

“Erin!” I heard a drunken voice slur. I turned around to see Chris stumbling toward me. “Come on, it’s time!” She squealed, trying to drag me outside and me letting her.

“Time for what?” I asked, right as the lights dimmed down and a voice came over the speakers.

“Thank you for attending our release party tonight. I appreciate all of the support. We are InterStellar, and this our song, Little Monster!” The guy on stage yelled, before a guitar and drum beat began. Then the guy began to sing.

Hey little monster, I got my eye on you

Where are you going, where you running to?

Hey little monster, you know it's all ok

I'm gonna love ya, no matter what you say

I've got love on my fingers

Lust on my tongue

You say you got nothing,

So come out and get some

Heartache to Heartache,

I'm your wolf- I'm your man

I say run little monster,

Before you know who I am

Hey little creature, tell me what's on your mind,

Where've you been hiding? And can I come this time?

So pleased to please ya, and rip that heart off your sleeve,

What we discover...

I've got love on my fingers

Lust on my tongue

You say you got nothing,

So come out and get some

Heartache to Heartache,

I'm your wolf- I'm your man

I say run little monster,

Before you know who I am

I've got love on my fingers

Lust on my tongue

You say you got nothing,

So come out and get some

Heartache to Heartache,

I'm your wolf- I'm your man

I say run little monster,

Before you know who I......am

When they finished, the party broke into loud applause and shouts. My head began to throb as the lights flashed on. I gasped as I recognized the guy on stage. Except for the fact of what he was wearing. It was the guy from the hallway. He and his bandmates were hugging and laughing. I focused on the guy I knew. He was wearing black skinny jeans and leather combat boots. As for a top, well, he wasn’t wearing one. Erin blushed and looked down.

“Wasn’t it good? I told you you would like it.” Chris yelled over the noise. I nodded at her before she was swept away by Chad. I sighed and walked back in the house to grab another beer. On my way back out, someone bumped into me, making the drink splash all over me and me fall to the ground.

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. Let me help you.” A soft male voice said, helping me up.

“You’re fine, I-” I looked up to see the guy from the stage. The one from the hallway. My eyes drifted all over now that I could see him up close. He was well defined in all of his chest and torso areas, abs and a treasure trail leading down to the tight skinny jeans he was wearing. I looked up from his pants as soon as I saw them tighten. His eyes were a shade darker as he licked his lips and helped me up.

“Come with me, I can get you a new shirt.” He started to shout at the end, as many people were walking through the walkway. I nodded and he took my hand and started to lead me upstairs into a bedroom. It was a typical boy’s bedroom, messy but much neater than mine. I looked up at the mysterious guy just as he threw a plain black t-shirt in my face.

“Just put that on and you’ll be fine. I’m sorry I don’t have many other colors, as you can tell.” He chuckled. I laughed nervously as I stripped my shirt and turned on the water in the bathroom, wiping of the excess beer before walking back out to grab the shirt. I slipped it on before going to walk out.

“Thanks for th-” I tripped on a spare book and shut my eyes as I prepared to hit the floor. I was surprised when I felt strong arms wrap around me and pull me up. I opened up my eyes to see blue ones boring into mine. His lips parted as his hugely dilated eyes flickered to my lips back to my eyes. He started to lean forward and close his eyes. My eyes fluttered closed as well. His breath was hot on my lips as they brushed each other. His full lips then pressed against mine in a full kiss.

His lips and body were hot as he pressed me up against a wall. They left my swollen lips to trail down my neck, stopping to suck a hickey on my collarbone before trailing over my jaw and capturing my lips again. His tongue slipped between my lips as his hands reached for my ass. He squeezed it as his tongue massaged mine. His hands began to wander to the front of me as the door slammed open. We jumped apart as I fixed my shirt, which had become messed up during the encounter.

“Erin! Time to go!” Chris yelled, looking straight at me and pointing. I nodded hurriedly and went to go walk out but the guy grabbed my wrist.

“Erin.” He smirks, “Nice name.” He whispers, writing something on my wrist in black sharpie. He lets go of me as I ran out of his room, the house, and into the car. I drive me, Chris and Chad back home, them making out in the back seat. When we reach the house, I leave Chris in the car with Chad as I shuffle back to my room and lay down. My alarm clock read 2:30 am. I yawned, stripping down to my shirt and boxers. I laid in bed as I looked at my arm.

Well at least I know his name, i thought, before turning off the light and zoning out.
