5. They will protect me
I smiled as Taemin collected the dishes and went off to the kitchen. He was such a gentleman, even though I could tell he wanted to kiss me again. I wanted to kiss him too, but I waited. The boys had explained to me about living with them. I would be able to go to school, an they would enroll to protect me against Drake. Drake Melvin was the school bully, and picked on me because my family is poor. I had lived with my aunt, who could care less that I existed. My baby brother, Kaleb, died years ago. Of cancer. Since then, I was bullied because I could barely afford shoes. The boys had promised to protect me, and they were letting me live with them. As long as I kept their monster identities a secret. I promised, and went off to my room happily.
I stared at myself in the mirror. I was beautiful. Amazing. Dazzling. 'Drake will never make fun of me again.' I mumbled. Suddenly, I felt arms wrap around my waist, and pull me into a body. I recognized Taemin's face in the mirror, and smiled. A warm breath tickled my ear. 'I'll make sure he doesn't. No one messes with my girl.' He whispered. I giggled. 'I've only known you for a day.' I reminded him. Taemin kissed my neck. 'It feels like forever. I'll protect you with my life. I swear.' He swore. I turned, and rested my head on his shoulder. 'No matter what?' I pressured. Taemin chuckled. 'No matter what, Paris.' He promised. I pecked his cheek, and looked into his eyes. A glint was flickering within them. 'Can I?' He asked. I knew what he wanted. Me too. I put my hand in his hair, and tugged him to me. Our lips connected with electricity. I knew right then, that he meant it when he said he'd protect me. With his life.
