I woke up back in my room, laying in my bed. I was surrounded my worried faces, all that calmed down when they saw me awake. Taemin was right next to me, his eyes scared and happy at the same time. The other boys all sighed in relief, and Key spoke up. 'They let us bring you home since you were badly hurt. The nurse said you should stay home until you feel ok again.' He explained. I nodded slowly, feeling my head ache. I looked at Taemin, who stared back at me. 'Guys, can Taemin and I have a moment? Alone?' I asked politely. The boys nodded, got up, and left the room. Taemin bit his lip, trying to keep his composure. I patted a spot next to where I was laid. 'Come.' I said. Taemin hesitated, as if he might hurt me. 'Baby, I can't-' I interrupted him, telling him to come next to me again. This time, he reluctantly climbed in beside me, and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me into his warmth. 'Taemin, don't worry about me. I'll be fine.' I coaxed him. I knew he didn't believe me, but he had to. I didn't feel that much pain, especially when he held me. 'How can I not worry? You nearly got beaten to death, and you expect me not to worry?!' He exclaimed, looking into my eyes. I softly stroked his cheek, trying to calm him. 'Taemin, this could happen a lot. And every time it does happen, do you think that being angry will stop it?' I reasoned. Taemin growled, but not at me. 'I won't let it happen again.' He promised. I smiled reassuringly. 'Oppa, if it does happen again, I want you to come sleep beside me. Every time. Like this. Ok?' I requested. Taemin smiled when he heard me call him Oppa.
