Although Halloween was fun, school still started ad course. It took me a moment to realize why my alarm was beeping, but then I remembered school had started.
Excited to try my new cereal for the first time, I had a bowl of it only after getting dressed. After making sure everything was in my backpack and combing my hair, I sat by the window and waited for the bus.
The bus finally arrived at 7:43 on the dot. I climbed aboard and found my seat. The bus took off and arrived 5 minutes later. "Bye, Mrs. Morgan," I said before hastily dismounting.
After rushing to first period with Mrs. Drever, I got my iPad (yes, we actually have iPads of our own) and sat down. Fortunately, the twerp who's been unplugging my iPad didn't get down today, and my iPad was at 100 percent. Mrs. Drever did something relatively simple for first period to help get us warmed up. We watched a space video and took notes of it.
In second period, I went to English. We began to read The Lottery Rose, a book I'd read and hated in 5th grade. Now a second teacher made us read it in class. Reluctantly, I turned the first page. Ah, Irene, didn't we get enough of this crap 4 years ago?
In third, we went to math with Mrs. O'Shea and Mr. Travis. I took my seat by Natalie, which happened to be at a table surrounding the desks, and we started with the extreme easiness of a times table sheet that was timed for 2 minutes. Easy peasy. After that, we also did a sequence worksheet and learned a new method.
In 4th period I went to Library with Mrs. Riding. I was working on a special project there, and during that period I helped her take down Halloween posters as well.
After going to lunch, I went to fifth period with Mrs. Rankins and her assistant. After reading for 15 minutes, we were given a lesson in Social Skills.
After that, I went home on the same bus that had picked me up this morning. Tomorrow, school will start anew. Although Ammon got home soon after, Mom didn't come home until 6.
