The alarm beeped. Remembering school had started again, I got up and turned the alarm off by feel. Then I turned on the lights and got dressed. After eating my breakfast and combing my hair, I looked outside to see the grass and sidewalk had been done over with snow. After making sure everything necessary was in my backpack, I sat by the window, waiting for the bus.
Although the bus was 6 minutes late, it came and picked me up. Then we rode off to school and, thanks to the bus being tardy, I just barely made it to class on time.
In first period, we finished our presentations. Thanks to incredible hesitation from my iPad, I just barely finished in time. I presented in front of the class using some weird feature my teacher mentioned. According to her, today is a B day.
In second period, we read another chapter from The Lottery Rose, but did not do our "summary squares" this time.
In third, I didn't even make it into Ms. O'Shea's class when Brianna came out with a few others and told me it was off to Mr. Travis' class. We went down, and Mr. Travis had worksheets for us that kept us at bay all period.
In fourth, I went to art. Today we were working on using pastels, and I wasn't having much luck.
In fifth, missing assignments kept me at bay most of the time. At the end, however, one of the kids started acting up and we all left.
After that, Ms. Rankins' assistant, Mrs. Hawsen, brought me my backpack from the class; meanwhile, Ms. Rankins was monitoring the classmate over cleaning up the mess he made. Afterwards, I went to Ms. Drever's class briefly to turn my iPad into the slot. Then I rushed out to the bus, only to be surprised by a new seating chart placing me behind the same classmate who had been acting up earlier. Was not very chatty.
I got home to find Mom was already there.
