20. A Four-Day Weekend
I returned from school with a smile. Ammon was already home. Because of Alan Rickman's death, we decided to have a Harry Potter movie marathon to celebrate his career. On Saturday, we watched The Philosopher's Stone and The Chamber of Secrets. We also brought several snacks.
Up to now, I hadn't realized how boring the series would be without Lord Voldemort.
On Sunday we watched The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Goblet of Fire.
On Monday, we did not return because it was a school week. Later on, we would finish the series at home. My brother and I watched The Deathly Hallows - Part 2 with Mom and the other three alone. Unfortunately, Ammon fell asleep during The Half-Blood Prince, so getting it over with would take even longer. Unfortunately, both parts of the seventh book were still exciting. Maybe because Voldemort was in more than one scene?
