28. Be Careful
It was late and I was standing out on my porch.
The guys were still inside, but Harry and I were outside saying our goodbyes.
He was leaving for London tonight and his flight was in two hours.
I hated to see him leave, but I knew that he needed to visit his family and I wasn't going to hold him back from doing so.
That wasn't who I was and I certainly didn't want to become that person.
The outside light was turned on so that we could see each other and I was happy, gazing into his green eyes.
I was beginning to wonder how I'd survive with him being gone for two whole weeks, but I was trying my best to convince myself that it wasn't two weeks.
Harry's smile was sparkling in the darkness and I was leaning against the house with my arms crossed.
The air was warm and I smiled as a gentle breeze swept through.
"I'm going to miss you like crazy." I admitted.
Something in his eyes seemed glad that I would miss him, then again they seemed slightly sad as if he knew the feeling.
"I know, I'm going to miss you too." He said and I kept our eyes locked together.
"Tell your mom and sister I said 'hello'." I say softly.
He grins at me. "I wil--And you'll get to meet them soon."
I look at him confusedly as he chuckles.
"I was actually hoping that you would come back to London with me in a few weeks." He said smiling widely. "I'll be there for a few months and I'd like for you to come with me."
My smile grew wider at his thoughts. "I'd love too! But only if you're sure it's alright?"
He chuckles. "Of course it will be."
I nod, smiling. "Alright, I'll come back with you then."
He smiles, gazing into my eyes, but then I remember the magazines that were at the airport today when we had arrived home.
California wasn't missing a beat on Harry and I.
"It seems like all the Magazines have something to do about us right now." I say smiling.
"Yeah, beware of the paparazzi though. They'll probably try to track you down everywhere." He says.
"That comforts me alot you know." I tease him.
He chuckles. "I know, that doesn't give off a good feeling at all."
"Nope." I say.
It had been a few minutes and Harry glanced at his phone. "I have to go."
Nodding, I walk over and hug him, kissing his cheek. "I love you and please be careful."
He smiles, kissing my head. "I will. You be careful too! I love you."
After a few seconds, we pull away from each other and he looks into my eyes one last time.
"I'll see you soon." He says and pecks my lips.
"Alright." I say and then he reluctantly leaves.
Once the SUV disappears from sight, I go back inside feeling slightly sad.
