3. The First Weekend

Tessa's P.O.V.

The first week is a  little heck tic, but it's very memorable. As I walk downstairs on Saturday morning, I find Niall in the kitchen.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" I ask.

"I couldn't." He says.

"Is something wrong?" I ask.

"No, I just couldn't go back to sleep." He says.

I smile and walk over to him.

"Want me to make you something?"

He kisses me. "No, you've been busy cooking all week. I'll have some cereal."

"Niall, you know I don't mind." I say.

"I know, but you've worked so hard baby." He says.

I roll my eyes and sit down at the counter.

The girls were still asleep, they would probably wake up soon. Saturdays, are sleep in days, but they don't normally sleep in late.

"This week has just flown by." I say.

"I know. Before you know it it'll be Christmas." Niall says.

"Yeah, I know." I say.

Then, Skyla comes into the kitchen in her pajamas.

"Good morning Sweetheart." I say.

"Morning." She says sleepily.

"You want something to eat?"

"No, not just yet. I want a glass of milk though."

She made her way to the cabinet to get a glass and then to the fridge to get the milk.

That was Skyla... She always got a glass of milk when she got up, but she wasn't the only one.

Isla liked chocolate milk and so did Bella.

Skyla sits down beside Niall and I and I turn to look at her.

"Has your week been a good one?" I ask.

"I guess." She says.

That's not something she normally says about her first week of school. Normally she'll tell me it's been good.

I get a hint of something not being right, but know that if somethings wrong, she'll tell me.

Bella and Isla come down stairs. They get their chocolate milk and we enjoy the morning. Most of us are just lazy all day. I do a couple of things around the house and then on Sunday we're all lazy again.
