After I wake up, I'm sitting a hospital bed with Justin at my bedside. I see the IV, and the ace bandage on my hand. A sharp pain runs up through my arm, and the part of the brain that sends the message that you're in pain sends it shooting right back down. I tried not to make a deal out of it, but even then you were still able to hear my shreiks of pain. Justin looked up at me, and eyes were shut tightly, and I was making a face. He grabs my other arm and tries to calm me.
"Babe, you'll be okay. The doctor said you're going to hurt. They gave you something for it before you got stitches, but it probably has worn off by now. Do you want me to get a nurse in here?" He caressed my arm which did calm me a bit, I nodded my head. He got the nurse who then brought in a syringe with pain medication and put it into my IV. She told me that it would take a few minutes, but what she gave me would also help to calm my nerves, and it may make me drowsy. About five minutes after she left the room the pain slowly started dying out, and my body started to sink comfortably in the bed.
"How did you find me?" Justin looked at me and then said "Our phones can trace the location of our calls. I don't like doing that, but when you slurred your speech and everything I panicked and that's how I thought I'd get to you." I looked at him and nodded. He then continued. "The doctor said you were lucky that I got you here when I did. You lost so much blood, and if I would've brought you a minute or so later they may not have been able to help you. You managed to hit a few veins." I looked down at my hand and back up at Justin. I saw the worry I'm his eyes no matter how hard he tried to hide it. I used my good hand to rub his cheek. He moved closer and kissed me before the doctor came in.
"I see you have woken up. How are you feeling?" He asked.
"I'm okay I guess. Slowly becoming tired."
"I figured, we gave you some strong medication since it was as bad as it was. Your boyfriend here saved you. However we would like to keep you here to observe you overnight to make sure there are no other complications. We gave you some blood since you lost a lot, so we were able to help you out there. Do either of you have any questions or concerns?" We shook our heads no, and he told us if we needed anything to let the nurses know. He then left the room.
"What about my parents?"
"I got it taken care of. Jasmine is covering for you. Is everything between you guys alright? She answered the phone pretty harshly and I have a feeling that this has something to do with it." I looked away. I only gave him an idea of what happened, not what the argument was about. Just that we got into it, I threw my vase, it broke, I told her to get out, and I ended up cutting my hand on a huge shard of the broken glass. He nodded not trying to get any other information from me. I started yawning before my eyes started getting heavy. Sleep sounded great right now. And that's just what I did.
The next morning I was released, and they sent home some pain medicine. I was told I'd need to be watched carefully for the next day or two, so Justin told Jasmine to tell them that I'd be staying for a few days. She let us know that it was okay with them, and Justin took me to his suite. He carried me into the room, and lied me on the bed. He plopped down next to me, and I moved into him not letting a hair width of space between us. I couldn't have this in the hospital, so I wanted it now that we were at his place alone.
He made sure to take good care of me, getting me what I needed, some extra things, and making sure I was comfortable. Hell my parents were never there to do this because their company was their first priority. It made me feel like I was actually loved and cared for. I knew I'd have to repay him for this. But I'm not sure how yet.
The day arrived that I was able to go home and we were both dreading it. He drove me to my car, and made sure to give me plenty kisses before I got out. I thanked him several times for everything, but he said that there was no need because that's what he is supposes to do. However I thought that it was the parents job to worry and make sure their children were still breathing. I blew the thought off, and headed home.
When I got there I greeted my family and then headed to my room. I lied down and relaxed for awhile. For the next month, Justin and I would continue to see each other secretly. But no one knew that something between us would happen as soon as it was going to...
