24. Never everlasting
Whispering in my ear last night, he tells me that he loves me and nobody else. A always believed him, and nobody else. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek, holding me close. He tickled my neck making me giggle, and nuzzled my neck that night. His arms were warm, protecting me from cold and harm. I sighed and relaxed against him and falling into a deep and comfortable sleep. The next morning he was gone, all he left was a note. His arms that were supposed to hold and protect me only held lies. His kisses sweet and soft held no love. Nothing is everlasting. I know that now.
