I sat almost an hour just staring at the ceiling fan. I watched it rotate again and again. Must be nice I thought, to be in this world and do the same exact thing over, no surprises, nothing to worry about, nothing but the rotate of the blades. There was a knock at my door.
A petite, red head, opened it quietly. "Harry sent me to tell you it's time to move into his bedroom." Today? Does that mean Sydney will be with Louis by the end of today? I nodded and blinked away the build up in my eyes.
"I'm so sorry." She whispered so quietly to be sure no one else heard but me.
I didn't know the way to Harry's room and I didn't care to know it. One of his staff volunteered to help without me even requesting. "Right here." He said pointing to a wooden double door. I looked up at the staff member. He was young, bright blue eyes, and light brown hair. He was handsome beyond words and something about him reminded me of Noah. Noah. The thought of him brought fresh tears to my eyes. "Thanks." I mumbled attempting to hide my hopeless sobs. I didn't have the strength to knock, he did the favor of doing it for me. There was a small smile then he walked away.
The door blew open. Eager Harry? Only cruel thoughts came to my mind and I looked at him with disgust. He put his head down "Come in Kaylynn."
I didn't bring anything with me so I sat myself gently in a white leathered couch. He seemed to pretend I wasn't there and went back to working at his desk.
That's when I got a good image of his room. The king sized bed was filled with at least 20 black and white pillows, a large white comforter spread across, all couches and chairs were white leather while tables and desks were black, a large television hung above a brick fireplace, a double glass door lead to a bathroom and another to a closet. The closet I can only imagine was the size of another room.
Sometimes I wish my family was here with me. Yes I was here under the power of Harry, but I was feed and you were treated when ill. What if someone else was captured? Is everyone treated decently or is it worse other places? I hope Noah is okay, Noah's brother, Jessica, David, ...my father.
"What are you thinking about?" His voice was soft and sudden breaking me out of my thoughts.
"It doesn't matter."
"Don't forget you live under my roof Kaylynn, I think sometimes you forget that." His voice grew stern and tense.
"Yeah well I can assure you if I had a choice I would not be here." I release a scoff.
He stands up and steps closer. "You are an ungrateful and petty little thing aren't you?"
"I should be grateful to you?" I laughed hysterically as I finally looked up at him. He was fuming his face looked almost red.
"I feed you Kaylynn, I give you your own bedroom, I let you interact with whoever you want here! Others aren't as good as me or my friends." He answered my question without even realizing it. Others are, in fact, worse than him.
"It's not about interacting with the people on here that's important, Harry!" I shut my mouth. Oh no. Oh no.
"What's that suppose to mean, huh?" He looked at me smirking with his eyes. "Is there someone you want to talk to out there?"
"No." I made sure not to stutter or shake. "You're lying." He was closer now almost inches from my face. "There's no one please." He didn't believe me, but some decent bone in his body let him let it go.
"I don't ask much from you. You know some of you people would be beaten for lying, especially lying to someone like me."
So what? Am I supposed to thank him now? I rolled my eyes and sat back down. "Oh, are you done?" He questioned raising an eyebrow. I waited until he walked away to even move a muscle.
He sat back at his desk and I stayed quiet studying the room again. I would think his room would represent his personality, it was the complete opposite. White was the opposite of Harry.
"You're wrong, you know?" I finally spoke up and he looked over in my direction.
"Wrong about what?" He tilted his head to the side with squinted eyes, which was actually quite adorable.
"You say you're not asking for much."
"I'm wrong? How so?" He kept a skeptical expression as he studied me.
"You're asking for a baby, Harry." He looked down then back up at me. "You're asking for my virtue." His eyes widen and his nose flared. He opened his mouth then closed it again. "..and that.." I continued "..is for someone I love. It's not for you." A tear broke free once again.
