The Boys Next Door

2 best friends, Jaelyn and Jenna move to New York , to live out their dreams together. When they move in to their new apartment, they don't know what they are in for. They find out they live next to 4 extremely obnoxious bad boys. The ones they are told to stay away from. They are your typical group of boys, there is the bad boy, the player, the funny one, and of course the "sweet" one. They soon actually become friends with them. Some might end up falling for them. Who knows? Maybe the bad boys aren't so bad after all? This is about 2 best friends journey in life.

4. New Kids

P.S. Forgive me if I am describing New York wrong, I've never been there.

Jaelyn's POV

Today is our first day of school. Ugh. I am really nervous. What if no one likes me! I have to get ready now. I take a shower, and brush my teeth. I am wearing a white tank top. I am also wearing a purple, blue and white flannel tied around my waist, some light blue jeans and to top it off, a light purple crystal necklace.

I quickly put my hair in a fishtail braid, and go to the kitchen. Jenna is already there making breakfast. She is wearing a white t-shirt, with a purple flannel tied around her waist, and a cute necklace. She also has her hair up in a messy bun. I help her make the rest of breakfast. Once we finish eating breakfast, we start heading to school.

We don't have a car, so we are taking the subway. This is Jenna and I's first time riding the subway. I am actually kind of excited to ride it. After a couple minutes of walking, we arrive at the subway station.

There are a bunch of street artists performing there. This is awesome! Some of them are really good! The subway finally arrives. We go inside, and take a seat. We arrived early enough that we got a seat. People start rushing in. Soon the whole train is full. "Are you as nervous as I am?" I ask Jenna.

"Totally, I'm really nervous too! New York is so different from home. Who knows what the kids will be like," Jenna replies.

"I mean they can't be that bad right?" I ask. Jenna just shrugs her shoulders in response.

After a couple of minutes we arrive at our stop. We have to walk a little bit more, but then we arrive at our high school. It took us like thirty minutes to get here, but there it was...Jackson high.

It is a very nice looking school. It is a brick building. It has lots of windows, and is very large. We start heading in. Everyone is staring at us. Great, now we're the weirdos. All the boys are looking at us like we are just meat.

The girls are all glaring at us. Jeez relax we aren't going to steal your boyfriends. Jenna and I go to the office, to get our schedule. After we look our schedule over, we compare them. We have a lot of classes together. We have four classes together.

These girls come up to greet us. "Hi I'm Abby Verbeck," the dirty blonde wavy haired one says. She is really pretty, she has blue eyes and is tall. She also has really long hair, like mine. She is also really tan.

"And I'm Emily Tremaine," The brown curly haired one says. She is also really pretty. Her hair is so curly she has brown eyes. She is also really tall, and tan like Abby. She has freckles on her face.

"I'm Jaelyn Amor," I say.

"And I'm Jenna Bancroft," Jenna says.

"You guys must be new because, we haven't seen you guys around," Emily says.

"Yup, we just moved here yesterday," Jenna says.

"By yourselves?" Abby asks curiously.

"Yup," we both reply.

"Really? Lucky," Emily says.

"Yeah they let us because we're practically sisters," I say.

"Oh that's cool," Abby says.

"Yup," we say in unison.

"Want to eat lunch with us at lunch?" Emily asks.

"Sure," we both reply. Look at that, we already made some new friends. The bell rang.

"Well see you guys later," Abby says.

"Welcome to the school," Emily says.

"Bye!" Jenna and I reply. We had our first class together, math. When we walk in, everyone stares at us. How come everyone does that? Is there something on my face? I bring a hand up to my face to check. Nope, nothing there.

After math, we go to second period. We have history together. After history, we finally have lunch. We meet up with Abby and Emily. We take a seat and began eating our lunches.

"So how do you guys like New York so far?" Abby ask.

"Well it's--" Jenna begins to say but then the door bursts open, and everyone turns quiet. Four very attractive looking boys come in. All the girls are drooling all over them, and all the boys look scared, or envious.

"Who are they?" I ask Emily and Abby.

"They are the golden boys," Abby replies.

"Stay away from them, they might seem all handsome, but they're dangerous. Everyone calls them the golden boys because they are so "perfect"," Emily replies rolling her eyes.

"Duly noted," Jenna replies.

"The one in the middle is their leader. His name is Jace Carter, he's the bad boy of the group, even though they are all bad. He is by far the most vicious. You should watch out for him the most. Sure he might be nice at first, and not seem all that bad, but don't be fooled. Underneath that charming smile, is a ice cold heart," Abby says. Huh, I never would have guessed that.

He is very attractive looking, they all are. He has long light brown hair, and brown eyes. He has a nice jawline, and seems to have a good built. He is also very tall must be at least six feet tall. He also hair perfect teeth. He is also very tan. Jenna and I are listening intently. We don't want to miss a single detail.

"The one on his left is Sam Hill. He is the funny one of the group. He is always joking, and sarcastic. He might look like he is a nice guy, but he isn't. His definition of funny is way different than ours. He pulls the meanest pranks. If you annoy him, you are dead. You never know when he's going to go prank you," Emily says.

Ok now I was getting scared, I don't even want to make eye contact with them. I hope they don't notice Jenna and I. Sam has dark skin and has curly black hair. It is styled like somewhat like an afro. He has brown eyes, and is average height.

"The one on Jace's right is Alex Kingsley. He is the "nice guy" of the group. Overall, he is the nicest out of all of them--" Abby says, but I asked her a question before she could continue.

"Define nice?" I ask.

"Meaning, he doesn't kill you if you make him mad," Abby replies.

"Okay continue," Jenna says.

"As I was saying, he is the "nice guy". Don't be fooled by his innocent look. He can be just as mean. Sometimes he is nice. If you were to get in trouble with one of them, you'd want it to be him," Abby says.

Alex has has dark brown long hair. He has brown eyes. He is pretty tall, but not as tall as Jace. He has pale skin.He has a nice smile, and a friendly face. Apparently I'm not supposed to be tricked by that.

"Last but not least, the one next to Alex is Chris Langdon. He is the player out of them all. Don't get me wrong, they are all players, but he is by far the biggest. He goes through girls like they are just an object, not a person. He has broken so many hearts, he lost track. He wins girls hearts, and breaks them for fun. If he tries to make a move on you, run away! You do not want your heart broken by him," Emily says.

Chris also has brown hair. He is average height probably the same height as Sam. He is tan like Jace. He is also very muscular like all of them. He has brown eyes, all of them have brown eyes. Brown eyes with secrets in them. His hair is wavy.

"Ok, got that down. Stay away from the golden boys," I reply.

"You understand too Jenna?" Asks Abby.

"Yes, of course!" Jenna replies. The bell rings.

"Bye guys!" I say.

"Bye!" They all reply. I head to my next class. I have my next class with Abby.
