Leave Me Nameless

When they met, he was enchanted. She forgot him in 5 minutes. He couldn't stop thinking about her for 5 months. When a rumor brings them together, he discoveres that she may not be the princess he thought she was.

28. September 14th, 2014 Sunday

I need to talk. Last night was a dance, and Hallie is back from her summer ballet camp. She kept a close watch on me all night and wouldn't leave me side. If I tried to, she would grab my arm and pull me back. Halfway through the dance I felt arms go around my waist, and suddenly someone was walking me quickly out of my dance circle. "You've been kidnapped." Tristan whispered into my ear as I laughed and tried not to trip. But just as we stopped Hallie was right behind us.

"Why did you do that?" she demanded, looking at Tristan for an explanation. Soon everyone else followed and we were separated again. After a few more songs I saw Christian and Tristan talking. I knew if I left fast enough, he would see, so I did. Sure enough, only Tristan followed me into the kitchen for a drink of water.

Me: Hi

Tristan: Hi? That's it?

Then he left so I followed and quickly caught up.

Me: you're going to make me chase after you?

He laughed and as we walked back onto the dance floor, the last slow song of the night came on. Tristan put his hands on my waist, and I put both of mine on his shoulders. He held me close and I had butterflies in my stomach. We had never danced like this before.

Me: Aren't we going to get in trouble?

Tristan: Yeah, but it'll be worth it

He gave me the green lea necklace he'd been wearing all night and then we hugged for awhile, but not too long. When the dance was over, Hallie came over.

Hallie: Why did you guys hug for so long?

Me: I dunno...

Hallie: Do you still like him? I started to walk away but then Lily ran up. By now Tristan had left and I was waiting for my ride.

Lily: Penny, you shouldn't be getting in a relationship with Tristan. He's a player! He's doing this to all the girls as school, don't fall for it or he's just going to break your heart.

I waved off her worries, I already knew he sweet-talked lots of girls. That didn't matter. I knew he like me more than any of them. Then dad pulled up and I said goodbye to Lily, thanking her for the advice anyway. Hopefully Hallie doesn't take all this too hard. But as for me, it was a wonderful night, and I was sure I would keep that green lea forever.
