I think the title's fairly self-explanatory

20. Train

I used to stare out the
window,
the glass the only
divider between the
world and
I.
I'd watch the blur
of the past and the
present,
merging into one
canvas of the life
we've created -
but full of
colours.

I used to stare out the
window,
the glass the only
divider between the
others and
I.
I'd overlook the
people that passed as I
remained
isolated from
humankind -
where I never felt
welcome.

I used to stare out the
window,
the glass the only
divider between the
pain and
I.
I'd shelter inside
carriages because I
never felt it so badly when I
hid  -
the glass took my
bullets so my
heart didn't have
to.

I used to stare out the
window,
the glass the only
divider between my
life and
death.
But one day I looked out,
and the glass couldn't take it
any longer.
I felt my heart
pour onto the
canvas's art; my soul
shatter into
nothingness,
until every
piece of the train I'd
created,
remained
still.
empty.
