RIP my heart out

Sam. My best friend. His deep green eyes and soft, dark brown hair. And those peach, perfect soft lips get over yourself.
Luke! Get over yourself, I don't like him that way. That's just....just...wrong.
'how did you meet?' The one question I regret hearing. The one that starts all the perfect memories. The ones I'll never have with anyone else, ever again.

4. Shy?

Luke's POV

He's shy? Pretty boy is shy?

The short trip home was filled with silence. Sam only glancing out the window to view the city lights and houses.

Home was a little better.

'where will I be staying?' He smiles, showing of two rows of perfect white teeth.

'Um, I could set up a bed in the computer room?' it came out more like a question.

'Sure, I guess..' It is clear how uncomfortable Sam is.

'Have you always been this quiet?' My tone soft and more question like then anything else.

'I, uh.' He looks from my eyes to his feet. I furrow my eyebrows at his odd behavior.

It want my intention to make this awkward. I don't know, maybe its the fact that he is shy. I have never meet a shy person until now. It shocks me how a shy quiet person could be related to one of the nosiest people I know.

After I finish setting up the bed, I leave taking a phone call from Melody. I walk in my room closing the door behind me.

'You called?' My tone sarcastic. I lay on my bed, facing the ceiling.

'Yeah, I don't know why I did but, I did.' I can imagine her rolling her chocolate brown eyes.

'Awe you missed me.' I smirk, knowing the real reason why she called.

'Yeah right, I just can't get to sleep.' I pull my phone away from my ear checking the time.

'well, I guess I could come over...'

'Really Luke? All you ever think about is sex!'

'Thats not true! I think about-' but I was cut off. She had hung up.

As I left my room to go get some food, I over hear what I'm guessing 'Sam on the phone.

'I'm trying, OK?' He entheisies the OK.

'Listen Whatever you are going through, just sort it out.' The other male snaps. With that the dial tone of a phone call ending beeped.

There is a long few seconds of silence before or sounds like something is thrown across the room.
