1. 01 : Intro

Today was the day. The day that I am finally get to to move out of my mother's house and into an apartment with my best friend in the entire world.

Oh- I almost forgot. Where are my manners? My name is Jupiter Reyes, I am ninteen almost twenty years old, 5'3 and I have boring brown hair with plain green eyes. I have no siblings, my father is a dead beat low-life, and my mother is a lawyer who is always at work.

_______

I sighed as I glanced around my now empty room. I sat down on the ground in the midst of the boxes and thought of all the memories that I have experienced in this very space.

"He's so tall, and handsom as hell. He's so bad, but he does it so well. I can see the end, as it begins." My rose gold iphone 6s played quietly in my jean pockets, indicating that I was getting a call. Did I mention that my mom's friend gets access to all apple products before anyone else?

I dug my phone out of my back pocket and saw my best friend's face lit up on the screen. "Jupiter! Scott and I are outside, hurry up so we can go see the apartment!" Daisy screamed before hanging up abruptly. I stood up and grabbed the last box that was in the hallway and said one last goodbye to my childhood bedroom.

I ran out of the front doors, closing it loudly and running to the now full moving truck that contained my two best friends in the front seats.

I placed the box in the back of the truck and looked at the house one final time as I sighed shortly before rushing to the front and slamming the door to the truck behind me. I put my seatbelt on and we were off to the airport.

_______

When we arrived at the airport, it was actually a lot more difficult than I thought it would be to say goodbye to Scott. Like, I knew that it would be hard, but not so hard that I didn't want to leave his embrace as we stood in the middle of the airport in a group hug.

"I'm going to hella miss you guys," Scott said as he, sadly, let us both go.

"Oh, Scotty." I said, "I will miss you, but not you saying 'hella' twenty-four seven." I smiled as he laughed at me and pulled me into a side hug, ruffling my hair.

"Great, now all the hot british guys won't get to see my beautiful weave." I said sarcastically as I heard a few snickers from some guys walking by.

"Flight 238 is now boarding, please make your way to gate 34. Flight 238." The lady on the intercom announced as it played loudly through the speakers.

"Oh no," Scott said as he released my shoulder from under his armpit. "I love you guys." Scott pulled Daisy into a seperate hug and then did the same to me before we finally departed from him.

_______

Daisy and I were currently an hour and a half into our twelve hour flight to Manchester and let me tell you, at the moment it hasn't been so thrilling. There were four seats in a row and only Daisy and I were in our row, so we sat in the middle.

I had my matte black beats headphones draped around my neck with Daisy had her head leaning on my left shoulder, playig Luke Bryan quietly only so we could hear it.

"I miss Scott," I heard Daisy mumble. I placed my cheek on the top of her head, pushing some of her hair out of the way.

"I know, Dais. I do too." I said as I sighed. "Hey, let's facetime him!" I pulled my phone out of my purse and slid the screen, unlocking it. I pressed on the facetime app and dialed in Scott's number.

I held the phone out in front of Daisy and I as we waited a few minutes for him to answer. "Scott!" We yelled, which was not a great idea.

"Daisy! Jupiter!" He yelled back to us with a smile. We smiled back and talked with Scott for about a half hour before he had to go help his mother cook dinner.

_______

We had finally arrived in Manchester! Daisy slept for most of the flight, and I played on my phone most of the time. By the time we got our luggage and ordered an Uber, it was dark.

The Uber had finally arrived, we shoved all of our luggage and the couple boxes we had into the trunk. We climbed in and told the driver our new address and we were off.

When we arrived at the complex, our driver helped us carry everything to the fourth floor, because apparently the elevator was out of order. Sucky.
