Authors Note!:

Okay, so we are now going to write in Tomi's POV too - just to mix it up. We are sorry if it is confusing, but we think it will benefit the story further. Comment what you guys think! And don't forget to Like!! And now back to the story.

Tomi:

I opened my eyes, which didn't help sense there was a bag over my head. "Get this stupid thing off me!" I yelled at the people around me. Someone hit me in the side and I fell over, not able to steady myself. There were dog barks, and growls from the side of me, which made fear coil within me.

"Tomi? Are you alright?" Gracie asked.

"I think so. Are you the dog I herd?"

"Yes, me and Finel." she answered. I tried to get the bag off my head, but my hands were tied behind my back.

"Can you help me?" I asked in a whisper, and like that Gracie took the top of the bag in her mouth and pulled it off. Blinding light hit me like a truck. Once I got use to the brightness I saw five men around a room, Gracie was next to me, and Finel was next to her. "Thanks." I said. The room swayed beneath me, and I fell back over.

"They took us on a ship." Gracie said, and I couldn't help a laugh from escaping my mouth. All five men looked at me, startled a bit at my sudden burst. One, a big fellow, with shaggy dirty blond hair stepped forward and slapped me.

"Quiet girl." He said sternly. I gasped in surprise.

"Do not hit me!" I yelled. All five men laughed, and the one that hit me leaned down to be at eye level.

"I don't listen to a maggot like you." he spat, than laughed like it was the funniest joke ever. I frowned. Then the door opened and a tall, dark haired, shaggy beard, (well, more like scruff) man walked into the room. He had two different colored eyes, one blue and one brown. All the other men stood at attention, and the one stupid head man who called me a maggot backed a way.

"Get out." He said in a soft stern voice. All the men basically ran out of the room. "Not you." He stopped the maggot guy from exiting. Once the other four left the room the guy closed the door. "Sit." He said to maggot, maggot did as he said. "Why did you hit her?" He asked in a softer, almost a whisper, voice. Maggot didn't say anything. "I asked you a question."

"I don't know, sir."

"You don't know... Well-" the man, who seemed to be the captain, punched the man in the face, then the side. "I don't know why I did that. Do you?" maggot shook his head.

"No sir."

"Get out." the man said, and maggot did as he said without another word. "Sorry about that." he walked behind me and untied my hands.

"Why did you take me?" I asked scared.

"I get paid to do things, and that one lady paid me to capture you, so I did." He said.

"What lady?"

"The lady."

"Oh! Like that explains everything!" I said sarcastically. The man helped me into a chair, then sat in another one across the room. "So, what's your name?"

"Hutch. And yours?"

"Tomi." I answered.

"Well, Tomi, No one will hurt you on this ship, if anyone does tell me. I'm not the captain, but I do have authority. You are a captive, do not try to escape or you will be punished. Not my rules, the rules of the captain." I nodded. "Dinner is in thirty minutes, so get washed up." He said, than walked out of the room, leaving Gracie, Finel and I alone.

"Well, he's strange." Finel stated.

"Obviously. Anyway, help me up." I said, Gracie and Finel came over to me, and I used them as crutches to get up. Once I was up, I used Finel for support to walk. There was a mirror on one of the walls and I slowly walked over to it. "Ugh, I look hideous!" I said, my hand flying to my hair. It was a total mess, strands everywhere. I looked around and found a comb on a table, picking it up I started to brush through my hair. After it was okay to finally style, I french braided it down my back. The dress I was wearing was torn and dirty. "What to do about this?"

"You could cut it and make it shorter, then ... ugh, thats all I can think of right now."

"I'd rather not." I said. "It's as good as it can be." and with that the three of us walked out of the room. We really were on a ship, a large one too, busy with men running around doing things.

"Eh! Wa' you doin' here?" A woman asked from behind me. I quickly turned around to face her. "An' in tha'! Come w'th me." She said, offering a hand. I took it and she led me across deck and into a cabin. "You need new clo'ths. Wa' you want? Dress, or pan?" I didn't quite get the last part, so I just stood there staring at her.

"What did you say?"

"S'ry, pants." She said with a cute smile. I shrugged.

"I don't care."

Dress it is! An' you gonna be cute too." She walked over to a wardrobe and pulled out a white dress with red lace. "C'me on an' get out of tha' mess." I did as she said and changed.

"Thanks." I said when my old dress was off.

"Wa' happen to you?" She asked pointing to the stitches on my leg.

"Oh! That's, uh, I got that when trying to sword fight." I blushed and quickly got into the white dress. It fit perfectly. "What's your name?"

"Lanna, n' yours?"

"Tomi." Lanna smiled looking at me in the dress.

"You look beautiful." Her accent making the words slurred and cute.

"Thanks." I smiled and twirled, sorta, around.

"Now, we m'st be goin' dinner starts soon." Lanna lent me her hand again and I took it, we walked back on deck, heading for stairs. There was singing coming from the dinning hall. When we walked into the room there was cat whistles, and dog calls coming from the men, I blushed. "Oh! St'p it!" Lanna yelled sitting down, I sat next to her as the singing continued. Lanna joined in, singing in her beautiful, strange, accent.

Hutch walked into the room, wearing a long black coat, a white blouse, brown trousers and black riding boots. Everyone quieted, except one guy, the maggot. Everyone looked at him, eyes wide, looking scared. Hutch walked around the table, stopped by maggot, who was clearly drunk, and put a hand over his mouth leaned down and whispered. "Shhhhhhhh... we must be quiet, captain has a headache." Maggots eyes went wide with fear. And just like that Hutch straightened up and walked to the head of the table. Everyone stood up.

"Man! Th's is good. Cap'tn never comes to supp'r." Lanna whispered. A tall muscular man walked down the stairs and into the room, gave a slight nod, and walked to stand next to Hutch.

"Sit." He said in a stern voice. Everyone sat and started to pile their plates with food. I joined in - the food smelt great. People started to talk again, it started in hushed voices and grew to a louder volume.

"I can't bel've it! Cap'tn, here. Wow." Lanna said again, looking at him. He was cute I guess, but not my type - no one here was my type.

"Do you have a crush on him?" I asked her.

"Oh, no, I could'n have a cru'sh on him, against the ru'les." I laughed, which confused Lanna. "Why are you laugh'n?"

"It's against the rules?" I asked.

"Well, ya. We can't go 'round crush'n on our boss, le' alone brother." I was dumb founded.

"The captain is your brother?" Lanna nodded. "Wow."

"Tha' would say 't" She smirked, taking a bite of steak. "No, no, I got a crush 'n Hutch o'er there." she said pointing to Hutch, who was cutting his steak into little peaces.

"Really? Mr Stern face over there? who doesn't talk to anyone except to scare the crap out of them?" Lanna nodded, I laughed.

"Ya, I know. Stupid. He is John's bes' frien'. I scold m'self e'very day 'cause of it." she blushed looking down at her food. "John is 'th cap'tn, if you din't get that." I nodded.

"Why are you blushing?"

"'cause you might scold me." I was confused. Why would I scold her? She's so nice!

"I'm not going to scold you." Lanna perked up.

"Re'lly?" I nodded. "Th'nk you." she ate some more food, and I couldn't quite get the question off my mind.

"Why would I scold you?" I asked.

"'cause, 'm no'body, and you'r som'body, I m'n if they took you. 'N people scold no'body's." Now I was really confused.

"Your not a nobody!" Lanna blushed again. "You are the sister of the captain! That is something."

"You re'lly th'nk so?" I nodded. "Th'nk you Tomi." I continued to eat - the meal was delicious! Steak, mashed potatoes, and beans! What more could you ask for?

Dinner was soon over, and people took there things to the kitchen, which was in the next room over, and left up the stairs. Lanna left a while ago, so I didn't know anyone and was just sitting there, being all awkward. Hutch came over to me, and I couldn't help thinking of Lanna and her thinking I would scold her for liking him. "Are you done eating?" I nodded. "Good. Come with me please." I did as he said, following him up the stairs, across the deck, and into another cabin. Gracie and Finel were in there, laying in the corners of the room. "This is your room. If you need anything knock on the ceiling, I'm above you." He said in a stern voice then left. I laughed sitting on the cot.

"Knock on the ceiling if you need anything." I said in a mockery of his voice laughing.

"You shouldn't do that." Finel said.

"Why? It's not like he'll do anything." Finel shook her massive head. "And I thought I was taken captive only last night, but it's night now?"

"They knocked you out, you didn't come around until then." Gracie said in a hushed voice. I nodded - it made sense remembering the splintering headache I awoke to. "You should get to sleep, we make the plan of our escape tomorrow morning." I laid down on the cot and quickly fell to sleep.
