The Unknown Journey

1. Childhood

I was always a lonely child. My father was never around, and my mom was out bar-hopping. I was often left alone at the house. I had an interest in traveling, partially because the only channel we got on cable was The Worldwide Broadcasting Channel (WBC). Something about the different environments, temperatures, and wildlife fascinated me to the point when that was all that crossed my mind. When I bathed myself, I imagined that the washcloth was a ship, crossing the seas. When I read books, it was hard to concentrate on the words because world kept crossing my mind.
