2. The Stranger

The first customer walked in her name was Mrs. Glum. She was about 80 or 85 years old, and had bright red hair. She also wore bright red lipstick and red clothes. She had a little poodle named Petunia. The little dog had red ribbons in her hair. That always made me laugh. She came in her red high heels clicking on the ground. She sat at the same table she sits at every morning. Its a little two seat table. Her husband Carlie died about 11 years ago from cancer. So now she sits alone at that table. Its by the biggest window in the cafe. They are beautiful french windows. She sat down Petunia barking. Signaling me to go over to her. I finished tying my hair back, and walked over. "Hello Samantha. How are you on this sunshine filled day?" she said not looking at me but at her menu.

"Im good Mrs. Glum and how are you?"

"Oh just as you would expect, thinking about charlie." She speaks off looking at her menu. I feel so sorry for her sometimes. "What would you like to eat today....." I zone off because someone else just walked through the door. I turn around and see a boy about my age and oh can I say, he is the cutest boy I had ever seen in my life. The sweet  most kind being. Either though  I had never met him he was hot. He had dark brown skin and crystal blue eyes  I completely forget about Mrs. Glum who is getting impatient. She clears her throat. I turn around to Mrs.Glum.

Mystery Boys Perspective: I walk in to the little cafe. I just moved in to town from Oregon. I can say I wasn't excited to move to a western state, filled with fields and fields. I look around huge windows let in so much light its feels like I had lived in this town my hole life. I look over to see a girl about my age. Her dirty blonde hair pulled into a pony tail. She turns her head my way, her green eyes catch the light from the windows. She is the prettiest girl I had ever seen. She looks away quickly, like when someone catches you staring at them and its awkward. I felt like my life had just got a little more interesting.

        Sam's perspective:

Ohhhh. He saw me looking at him. I feel so awkward. Mrs. Glum orders a cup of coffee. I turn to the kitchen where my dad has prepared it. I turn around and walk towards her. Being distracted by the stranger in the cafe I trip on the dog leech and fall right on top of the boy spilling the coffee on him and me.
