Our lips met again, and his hands went to my waist pulling me into his body. I pulled back putting my hands on his chest to keep him back, “I gotta go.” He laid his forehead on mine, “I can arrange for you to take classes here. I can’t let you go into the world out there.” I laughed, “I’ve lived in the world for my entire life. I’ll be fine.”  I pulled out his arms, and made my way out of the kitchen. I headed to the door, and as I exited I noticed that my car was still parked where I left it. There was something missing that I knew I had brought. My phone, and my car keys.

I turned around to see them laying on a table in the corner, and I quickly retrieved them. As I stepped outside the door it slammed shut, and everything went black. It was bright, but it wasn’t a normal bright. I saw a woman standing still to the left of me, and as I started to approach her I recognized who she was. She was me. It was me, the girl standing before me was me. Her eyes were closed as if she were sleeping, but as I reached out to touch her they snapped open. I nearly jumped out of my skin, but as I saw her eyes I started to back away. They were a solid black, and she slowly blinked. “What a lovely surprise to see you here,” the voice was cracked and hoarse.

I swallowed hard and tried to control my breathing. “What do you mean by that,” my voice was shaking from all the fear that was rushing through my veins? She smiled showing razor sharp teeth, and it reminded me of Iron. “You do understand where you are?” I shook my head slowly, and stepped back again. “You’re in your soul gland in your body. It’s where,” “My soul is, I’m aware. If this is my soul gland, why are you here?” “I am you, Nora.” I was a little confused on whether she was trying to scare me or explain things to me. Either way, I was still creeped out. “What do you mean you’re me?”

She took a step toward me, and I took one backward. “I think that you have met Maria,” I nodded, “she is very angry, but it’s not you that she’s angered with.”  I ran my hand through my hair, “So you’re saying that she’s not angered with me, when she tried to kill me.” “Maria is angered at me, She was a shapeshifter who happened to look like me, Iron took a liking to her,” “Hold on, Iron took a liking to her, he loved Maria.” She shook her head, “Not once did Iron tell Maria he loved her. It’s something Iron has never said to anyone.” Did Iron love me, or did he just like me? I heard screams, but saw no one in which the screams emerged from. “Who are you.” “I am Alohara, Goddess of death. Iron, inside lives the God of death, Doom.”

The screams kept coming, and they started to get louder. “Are you telling me that the curse that Iron has is actually another soul that takes over his body.” She nodded, “Just as I’m taking over yours now.” I froze as the words slipped from her mouth. “What the hell do you mean!” My voice became hoarse as I screamed at her. “I have constantly taken over your body, but your mother was always there to calm you.” Tears came to my eyes, “My mother, you took over my body when I was child.” She nodded, “I was a very young god then, but being cursed to be in you was something I had to contend with difficulties with.” I swallowed, “My mother died when I was ten, I was asleep,” “You were, but I wasn’t. Lets just say mommy got a little to rough with you.” My eyes widened as a grin spread across her face, a grin that I remember.

Everything started to fade, “No, Not yet! NO!” She slowly disappeared and everything went dark. I blinked my eyes twice, and I was met by a nightmare. Blood was everywhere, and it was all over my hands. I stood up and looked down at my clothes, and they were drenched in blood. I turned around to see a little boy in the corner crying. I walked over to him, and picked him up. He was a little afraid at first, but he soon relaxed in my arms. He was still crying, “It’s alright, whats your name?” “Wilson,” he sobbed out slowly.” “I wasn’t myself when I killed your,” “I know, I knew who she was, mother and father warned me that this might happen.” I pulled him up so I could look into his eyes. “What were your parents?” He laid his head down on my shoulder, “They were God hunters.”

I started for the door, and as I left the house there were trees everywhere. I couldn’t see anything, but Wilson turned in my arms. He pointed into the trees, “Go that way, it’ll take you to the portals.” I put him down, and he grabbed my hand and led the way. We arrived at a stone building, and Wilson led me inside without fear. It was pitch black, but the lights came on to reveal three portals. “Say where you want to go, it’ll pull you in.” I grabbed his hand again, “Iron Mansion.” We were snatched into the portal, and then were standing outside of the house. The door swung open to reveal Iron, and his eyes went from me to Wilson. “Are you alright.”
