12. Captured

When my eyes opened I was being held, and I looked up to see the face of Iron. “You’re awake, thank god,” He pushed my face into his chest. I inhaled his sweet scent, he reeked of blood. His grip got tighter, and as I looked up I was met by black eyes starring back at me. I tried to pull away, but failed miserably. “Don’t be afraid of me. I will not hurt you.” “You’re a demon, why wouldn’t I be afraid.” He looked around the empty room, “I am a god, I’m neither angel or demon. I’m the god of death.”

The lights began to flicker, and the room it’s self started to do it also. I pulled away from him, and looked around the room. “What you should be afraid of is where we are right now.” My heart speeded as the walls that once surrounded me disappeared. I felt anger surge through me, and I turned to him. “What are you doing, where did you take me?” He slowly stood, and his eyes looked down at me. “I didn’t bring you here, but I’m positive I know where we are.” I was a little confused, did he not know how to get us out. “Where are we,” my voice was low? “We’re in the fifth circle of hell. It’s where they send Gods to be killed?”

My heart began to beat faster than my body could take. He stooped down to me, and he pushed my hair behind my ear. “I couldn’t hurt you if I tried, Iron loves you too much.” He put his arms under me, and lifted me off the ground. My breath started to steady as I inhaled his scent again, and it finally dawned on me on what he had told me. “Wait, what did you just say.” “Close your eyes, It’ll make it less harder for you.” I closed my eyes, and I felt his hands go to my head. He pushed it further into his chest making me inhale more of his scent.

I heard something growl, but then my hearing went silent. I couldn’t hear anything, and a bright light flashed. Something splashed over me, and my hearing began to come back. I pulled my head away from him, and looked up at him. “So you met Doom. How did he treat you?” He lowered me to the floor, and my breathing relaxed as his green eyes met mine. I shook my head trying to make that smell leave my nose, “he treated me nice, but he told me something.” Iron started to laugh, “What he told you was true.” He walked over to a desk, and started to shuffle through papers. “What’s true?” His eyes went to mine, “That I love you,” he went back to the papers. My face was burning hot, and I found myself unable to move.

Iron made his way over to me stopping inches away from me. I looked into his eyes, and in the middle his pupil was a little bigger than your average human one. “How would you love me, when your just now meeting me,” He smirked. “I don’t care, I just love you.” That was something that I knew Iron would never say that. I started to step back, and he grabbed me. His image started to blink, and I pushed him off of me. I started to run, but ran into a metal wall. I put my hands up feeling around, but all that surrounded me was the wall. I sunk down into a corner, and put my head in my knees. It’s not real, it can’t be real.
