Chapter Five: Why is Ashton holding her hand?

*not edited*

By the time we got off of the plane in London, grabbed our bags, got through the screaming fans and into the safety of the van, I knew more than I ever thought I would about the band One Direction. I knew all of their favorite colors, their birthdays, each of their family members names, and all the other random facts about them that Ashton thought necessary.

My head hurt and my eyes were drooping, but I somehow managed to stay awake for the drive to the hotel. It was about a thirty minute drive and, thankfully, I was now sitting between Calum and my brother. Luke was sitting in front of us with one of their bodyguards - who's name slipped my mind - while Ashton sat in the passenger seat. Their other bodyguard was driving.

Luke and Ash were currently fighting over which radio station to listen to, while Calum and Michael spoke to each other over my head. Yeah, I'm short so they really didn't have that much of a problem. Plus I was practically laying on Calum. My head was resting on his shoulder - not that I remember how it got there - and my feet were up under my bum.

"Well she can't share with any of you boys." Michael said, referring to me. "She's seventeen and my sister. I refuse to let any of you sleep in the same bed as her."

"Aw come on, it's not like I'd try anything." Calum replied with a chuckle. "She's like my little sister. I have no interest in her."

"You're the only one." Michael replied with a low growl. "Did you see the way Luke and Ash were looking at her when she moaned? They looked like they wanted to shag her right then and there."

Calum laughed at this, but I kept my eyes closed pretending to be asleep. My mind was on overdrive though. They what?

"I wonder who will get her." Calum said through a chuckle.

"Neither if I can help it." Michael muttered.

"Aw come off it, Michael. They're not that bad." Calum had calmed down some now. "She could do a lot worse than our lads."

Michael grumbled in response. Hmmm.

The rest of the ride was pretty quiet, besides Luke and Ashton's arguing in the front. We pulled up in front of the hotel by 4:30pm and I was starving. The thing was, the boys fans found out where they were staying. Which meant that the doors were blocked by a huge group of teenage girls.

"Well this should be fun." I muttered sarcastically as we stared out at the mass of writhing bodies. There had to be at least 200 girls out there.

"Aw, don't be that way!" Luke chuckled, sticking his tongue out at me.

"Yeah, our fans are great." Michael added defensively.

"I never said they weren't." I rolled my eyes. "I'm just not wanting to be mauled by jealous teenagers."

They all laughed at that. The bodyguards made their way outside the van, ready to create a space for us to run inside. Harley and Bobby were their names, Michael informed me when I asked.

As we stepped out of the van, I gripped my brother's hand. He turned to look at me and, seeing my terrified face, squeezed my hand reassuringly.

"You'll be fine, Ashy." He smiled brightly at me. I just nodded in return. Someone else slipped their hand around my free one, enveloping my cold hand in warmth. I turned to thank whoever it was and met the eyes of a grinning Ashton. For a moment I was startled, but I didn't get to think on it for long as we were moving through the crowd of girls and paparazzi.

"Is that Ashley?"

"I think it is!"

"What is she doing here?"

"She's so pretty!"

"Who is she?"

"She should go kill herself."

"That's Michael's sister. Isn't she gorgeous?"

"Why is Ashton holding her hand?"

The girls were getting anxious. I could hear the excitement and feel the hate coming at me full blast. It hurt that I was getting hate again, but it was kind of cool that so many people remembered me. I smiled at everyone we passed and the boys even stopped to sign a couple phones, t-shirts and pictures. Every now and then they would take a photo and even I was asked for a picture.

The boys would randomly pick me up and tickle me for no apparent reason, but I didn't mind. It just felt good to be back with my boys.o
