Chapter Eight: Do you want to play a game?

*not edited*

By the time I was finished in the shower, the boys were ready. Wrapping myself in a big, fluffy towel, I walked out of the bathroom.

"Go to the other room and watch TV or something until I'm done." I told the boys who were piled on the beds with their phones. Luke looked up and his eyes got wide when he saw me in nothing but a towel. "Go!"

Michael and Calum looked up from their screens.

"Out!" Michael screeched at them. Calum laughed, but he grabbed Luke by the collar and dragged him out of the room. "You too Ashton!"

Ashton still hadn't looked up from his twitter.

"Ten seconds, mate." He said in an annoyed tone. "I just gotta finish this one thing."

Michael and I watched him, Michael impatiently and I amused. He pressed a few more buttons before smiling and looking up. His jaw dropped when he caught sight of me, but he quickly closed it when Michael hit the back of his head.

"Get out, Ashton! And quit looking at her!" Michael's face was bright red which clashed with his white blonde hair.

"Calm down, Michael!" A giggle escaped me. "Deep breaths."

Ashton eyed me again with a lopsided grin. "You look cute, sweetheart."

Then he left, followed closely by Michael. I couldn't keep the blush from my face. Rolling my eyes, I plugged in my hairdryer.

I took my time with my hair, deciding to blowdry it into natural curls. I absolutely love my hair. Except in the mornings. Cue the horror music. Anyway, by the time I was finished with it, my hair was styled in soft, loose curls. The dress I had chosen to wear was a pale blue color, which made my eyes stand out. It hugged my curves, but the skirt was flowy and came down to about four inches above my knees.

My make up was light, natural. A light blush was powdering my cheeks, giving me a soft glow. I had lined my eyes with black eyeliner, just enough to cause my eyes to look bigger. the only other thing I added was a pale pink lipgloss.

Glancing at my phone, I winced. I had about five minutes left. Scurrying across the room, I dug through my bag in search of my clutch. It was red and match the pumps I had chosen to wear. Locating it, I loaded my phone, ID and pocket money inside.

With one last glance in the mirror, I decided I looked presentable. Walking into the other room, I noticed all of the boys watching some random show while waiting for me. I cleared my throat to get their attention. Luke was the first to look up, his eyes lighting up as I walked in. He stood and gave me a quick hug, kissing my cheek.

"You look adorabe, Ashley." he whispered in my ear before pulling away.

"Let's go," Calum whined, tugging at my hand. "I need a drink!"

Giggling, I let him pull me out of our room and to the lift, the others following us.

"Ashley, can we please get drunk?" Calum begged like a little boy. I chuckled at his pouting face. Calum wasn't usually the one who wanted to drink.

"Sure, if Michael doesn't make me sit in the corner all night, with no contact to anyone." I rolled my eyes as said boy entered the lift.

"Were you just talking about me?" my brother asked, running his hand through his hair.

"No." we answered together.

"Cause that was believable." Ashton grumbled.

"What crawled up your ass?" I asked with a glare in his direction. He just glared back, his eyes burning holes into mine.

The car ride was silent, we all kept to ourselves, not wanting to start fighting.

We reached the club within ten minutes, and I was grateful to get out of the car. The tension in there was so thick you could cut through it with a knife. I stumbled out of the car after Michael, huddling into his shoulder. shaking his head, he wrapped his arm around my shoulder, leading me into the club.

Paparazzi and fans were huddled around the enterance, screaming and flashes galore. I hid my face in my brother's shoulder, avoiding the cameras. Bobby and Harley surrounded us, helping us get through the crowd. As we entered, the sound got louder. Music was playing, bass pumping, bodies swaying - it was a full on party.

Calum grabbed my hand, pulling me to the bar and ordering two shots. The bartender set two glasses in front of us, poured in the liquer and left to help another couple.

"Do you want to play a game?" Calum asked me, picking up the salt next to him.

"Sure, why not." I answered, licking my wrist and offering it to him. "What game?"

"Well," he began with a smirk, pouring salt onto my wrist and repeating the action on his. "We see who can kiss more people."

"Caluuum!" I groaned, dragging out his name in annoyance. "You know I've only been kissed once, and you know who it was."

"Exactly!" he laughed as he picked up his shot. "This will give you more experience. And keep your mind off him."

"My mind isn't on him." I growled, also picking up a shot. I really didn't want to think about it.

"Whatever you say, darling." Calum said with a wink. "So are we doing this or what?"

"Let's do it." I replied grimacing.

We both took the shot, licked the salt off our wrists and sucked the lemon juice. I winced as the taste burned my throat, but couldn't help myself as I laughed at Calum's puckered expression.

"Let the games begin!" he giggled, shaking my hand.
