mint frappucino

"I just don't get how people can have a cold frappucino in the morning, but not some damn coffee or tea!" you spoke with exaggeration as you moved your arms.

I sit back with the green straw on my pulled up lips. I giggle at your little ranting and begin to take a sip of my cold mint frappucino.

This conversation was quite ridiculous, but at the same time I enjoyed listening to you. You had stopped talking, staring straight at me as if you expected me to share my opinion. I put my drink aside on the small bar table and said, "Let's face it. We're polar opposites."

"So I'm too hot for you?" you asked with a smirk, which is soon dropped as I open my mouth to speak.

"More like... I'm too cool for you."

5. winter

After a long day at work yesterday, and a roughly rushed morning with Zayn today. The decision was made that I head off to Starbucks yet again.

I was currently on the metro, sitting right by the automatic doors with my earbuds stuffed into my ears as I listened to Naive by The Kooks.

My mind was completely out of focus as I had flashbacks of this morning. Zayn was just pissing me off, and I couldn't handle his crap.

"Zayn, I get that you and Liam are boys and still like to be pigs at times, but it'd be nice if you could pick up the dirty plates and clean them.

"Also please just throw away the pizza boxes as soon as you finish the pizza. Don't leave them lying on the floor, they start to smell." I repeated for the hundredth time as Zayn rolled his eyes and huffed out of annoyance.

I was getting ready for work, while Zayn was preparing his new art piece for this gallery down the street.

"Why do you constantly talk about this crap?

"It wasn't even my night to do the dishes anyways!" he whined back as I crossed my arms over my chest. My bag was hanging over my body and my hair was a curly nuisance. I still needed to fix my hair and get some breakfast from the kitchen before I left for work.

"Yes, but you knew I would come home late from work. The least you could've done was help with the cleaning.

"Also I did the dishes the night before! It was your turn!" I reminded him.

He groaned and shouted, "Will you just get off my back?!"

"Not until you start cleaning! You live here with me so you might as well follow the rules!" I shouted back.

"What rules?!

"I didn't even agree to them in the first place!" he shouted as I huffed out of anger and stomped my foot to the hardwood floor.

"Zayn I'm so fed up!" I shouted.

"Then go!"

"Fine, I will!" I finish as I walk out the apartment, not caring whether I looked good for work or not.

There are moments where I just want to choke the living life out of that boy. He can sometimes be an annoying brother that I always wanted, but I would surely hate a lot at times. I'm just so glad I'm a single child.

The metro came to stop, making me jump out of my seat and onto the hard concrete grounds. I began to walk a bit faster just to clear my head and to get my breakfast as soon as possible.

The weather was pretty windy, but it wasn't as bad as yesterday's pouring, cold weather. I entered the shop with some mixed feelings welled up inside of me.

I couldn't tell whether I was still angry at Zayn or whether I was happy about the fact that there was no line today.

I walk up to the front cashier and notice the same male, Mark, from yesterday.

He notices me and smiles saying, "Wait! Let me guess one medium mint frappucino?"

He looked at me like he was expecting a gift from Santa Clause down at the galleria, during Christmas time. I simply shrugged and said jokingly, "Actually I was going to ask for a green tea, but now that you mention it I will go for a mint frappucino."

His smile had dropped only a little as he said, "Shoot I was so close. I'm usually good at remembering people's orders. Or even knowing their favorites."

I kindly smiled at him as I handed my Starbucks gift. I probably only have a few dollars left on there.

"Here you go! Your drink will be ready in a sec." he says with a smile as he hands back my gift card.

I go stand by the end of the counter, waiting for my cool drink. I hear the sound of a jingle and notice a young male appear.

He wore a beanie and some sunglasses, he had a Leeds festival hoodie and blue jeans that were rolled up into cuffs at the end. He wore Vans for shoes and no socks.

I couldn't see his eye nor hair color since they were covered, but he had a perfect jawline and nice tanned skin. His nose was adorable and small just like his body structure.

He was a bit a taller than me though. I also must admit that he looked quite fit as well since he had a great bum.

I immediately looked away as I realized that I was practically checking you out.

Winter you are such a weird human being...

A/N So I have a history test tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous about it. I'm also worried about my grades due to the fact that my quizzes are terrible.

I got a freaking 65% on my research people for dance class. Yes, that's right DANCE CLASS! What sucks more is that I worked on it for a full week, and that my teacher won't let me make up for it.

Oh I changed my wattpad bio btw. I liked it, but I'm telling you now I'm the weirdest Oreo alive.
