mint frappucino

"I just don't get how people can have a cold frappucino in the morning, but not some damn coffee or tea!" you spoke with exaggeration as you moved your arms.

I sit back with the green straw on my pulled up lips. I giggle at your little ranting and begin to take a sip of my cold mint frappucino.

This conversation was quite ridiculous, but at the same time I enjoyed listening to you. You had stopped talking, staring straight at me as if you expected me to share my opinion. I put my drink aside on the small bar table and said, "Let's face it. We're polar opposites."

"So I'm too hot for you?" you asked with a smirk, which is soon dropped as I open my mouth to speak.

"More like... I'm too cool for you."

4. winter

Your voice startled me at first, making me lose my train of thoughts. I didn't get the chance to look at you since my name was called by a barista.

"Winter, one medium mint frap!" said the young female as she handed me my drink, a green straw stuck right in the middle of the cold delight. I smile kindly and walk away, taking a seat.

I notice how you had disappeared. I look around the shop to see nobody, who could've possibly been you. You're voice was light, but a little raspy from what I recall. I imagine you to be a young eighteen year old with maybe light skin and reddish brown hair. Almost like Peter Pan, if I do say so myself.

I shrug my shoulders and sit back, putting the green straw between my lips and drinking the cold frappucino.

Whether it was cold or hot, this drink always made me feel better. I enjoyed coffee and tea as well, but mint frappucino is something that I've enjoyed drinking more since high school.

I decided to let my time pass by as I scroll through my phone, looking through my social media.

Niall had texted me a few other messages, on how I was a complete lunatic for not liking his one-to-pair.

Zayn had posted Snapchats of Liam and himself cuddling on our couch back home as they watched the Toy Story movies together.

Liam had also tweeted about their relaxing indoor date with a picture of Zayn sleeping up against him.

I laughed and tweeted a nice comment back, receiving some favorites and retweets in return.

I put my phone down and continue drinking my delight, looking around the shop to see a book shelf at the other end of the shop. I grab my drink and belongings and head over to old bookshelf containing the perfect novels of our time.

Fault In Out Stars? No, I've read it a thousand times.

The Host? No, watched the movie, and that was enough.

Harry Potter? Too long.

My eyes landed on the perfect book. The Great Gatsby.

I had seen the trailer for the movie, but had not watched it in theaters. I never even got the chance to read the book, so why not start now?

I sit on the brown leather couch next to the book shelf and put my bag in my lap along with my drink on the small coffee table in front of me.

I open the book and begin chapter one right away. My eyes devour every word that was written in that chapter. It was quite obvious that I was hooked onto the book. I had to finish it, but unfortunately I couldn't.

The time had flown by and I had just finished the first chapter. I'll admit I'm a slow reader, but I do enjoy reading. It was one of my many hobbies.

I put the book down, memorizing where I left off and grab my belongings. I walk out of the shop and onto the city streets, hoping to catch a cab to my work place.

The rain was pouring even faster than before, and I now regret leaving my jacket at home.

I notice a young couple walk passed me. They were hugging at each others sides as they shared small kisses and walk into the cafe. They were sharing an umbrella together, keeping them completely dry from the cold London rain.

I sigh, thinking to myself. I need to get a boyfriend.

A/N So how's this story so far? Sucks how she didn't meet the mysterious Peter Pan yet. Lol

I decided to have Lily Collins play as Winter because I have a huge woman crush on Lily. Her eyebrows are on fleek and her personality is amazing. I love all her movies, and I think she nailed her roles in Mortal Instruments and Love Rosie.
