mint frappucino

"I just don't get how people can have a cold frappucino in the morning, but not some damn coffee or tea!" you spoke with exaggeration as you moved your arms.

I sit back with the green straw on my pulled up lips. I giggle at your little ranting and begin to take a sip of my cold mint frappucino.

This conversation was quite ridiculous, but at the same time I enjoyed listening to you. You had stopped talking, staring straight at me as if you expected me to share my opinion. I put my drink aside on the small bar table and said, "Let's face it. We're polar opposites."

"So I'm too hot for you?" you asked with a smirk, which is soon dropped as I open my mouth to speak.

"More like... I'm too cool for you."

7. louis

Three days ago-exact-was when I first saw you. You had your hair up in a nice curly bun. Unlike most girls around these areas, you dressed differently. You had worn a striped shirt with skinny jeans and Toms. You didn't carry around a small purse, but rather a large body bag.

Other than your appearance, I must admit that I was quite impressed when I found out you were a bookworm. I even found it extremely attractive that you preferred reading The Great Gatsby over any other book on that old, rustic shelf.

I knew after that first day of seeing you, I had to come again. I couldn't get you out of my mind. There were even times where my boss would wake me up from day dreaming and tell me to get back to work.

I thought today would be the day where I would grow a pair of balls and actually talk to you face-to-face rather than speak my thoughts out. Though I wish I could apologize for it, for I might've seemed like a major dick.

Although, me being the unlucky type of person that I am, see you with an extremely handsome man. He had short, styled up black hair that was dyed and had a ear piercing with many tattoos scattered across his collarbones to his hands.

He wore a scarf and rather some uncomfortable looking clothes. Not to be rude, but he looked as if he were the type of man you're mother would tell you to stay away from.

After sharing a few words with you I just knew I couldn't talk to you again for you seemed to be already taken. If only a guy like myself could compete with a guy like him.

As I left you two, I stood outside-afar- watching you chat through the window as you laughed and talked amongst yourselves.

The more I observed your conversation (with your occasional hand gestures), the more I began to feel as if something was not right.

There was just something off about the man you were talking to. He looked tough and cool like any other regular guy, but he seemed quite sensitive and flashy as well.

I looked away from him and back to you, as you scrolled threw your phone, taking sips of your ice cold drink.

It makes me wonder how you can handle such a cold beverage in a cold London weather as this. I guess it's what lured me into you in the first place.

Seconds were spent unnoticed, and minutes had sped too fast. You and your friend stood up and walked out of the shop, making me turn around and walk to an alley.

I had the day off and was hoping to spend this morning with you, but I guess that won't be happening today.

As I walk I feel a small vibration in my pocket, making me slip my phone out to see a new message from my friend Niall Horan.

Niall: how ya doin u crazy animal?

Me: alright. u?

Niall: same old same old. now anythin new? any new girls? ;)

Me: plz don't use the winky face on me

Me: and there's one girl but she probably doesn't notice me

Niall: wot? visit me ASAP n lets talk this shit together

Me: on my way dr niall. wait u have the day off as well?

Niall: indeed I do fucker :)

Me: haha

I close my phone and throw away my finished tea as I walk down the street, heading over to Niall's duplex. I make it to the story building and am soon standing in front of the dark wooden door.

I knocked on your door and had no answer.

I knocked again an you still didn't open up.

After my third try I have up and texted you.

I soon hear footsteps running and see you opening the door in your black briefs as I shield my eyes from becoming blind.

"You do know there's kids who live in this neighborhood and upstairs, right?" I tell Niall as he rolls his eyes and says, "There in hell."

"Wait, what?" I asked.

"In school, you tossed wanker. Now get in here." you said with a chuckle as I walked inside with a smile on my face.
