HONG KONG, Nov 11, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - New York based G2 Investment Group ("G2") and Hong Kong based G2 Asia, Limited today announced the launch of the Asia operations of Forbes Private Capital Group ("FPCG"), a powerful private investment network focused on identifying unique investment opportunities for leading families and institutional investors worldwide. FPCG is jointly owned by Forbes Media, LLC ("Forbes") and G2, a firm which provides investment management, advisory and other financial services to sophisticated clients around the world.

G2 Asia, Limited and FPCG Asia are Hong-Kong based subsidiaries of G2 led by Norris Lam, Managing Partner and President of G2 Asia and FPCG Asia. Ms. Lam is a veteran finance professional with extensive experience in advisory, capital raising and strategic planning for private equity funds and businesses. FPCG Asia intends to apply for license with the Securities and Futures Commission in HK.

"I am thrilled to be bringing the resources and expertise of the Forbes Private Capital Group to investors and clients in Asia," Ms. Lam said. "My team and I look forward to deepening our friendships and network to extend a powerful global brand devoted to private investments."

FPCG is focused on assets that are tailored for highly sophisticated investors based on their risk and return appetite. In particular, the lingering effects of the global financial crisis present unprecedented opportunities for investment across markets and sectors.

The alliance between G2 and Forbes combines global distribution expertise with a world class financial services brand, creating a dynamic partnership with an unrivaled network of ultra high net worth and institutional investor relationships that will serve as an invaluable resource in the capital raising process.

"G2's investment management business is premised on accurate and sensible capital allocation and powerful distribution," said Todd Morley, Founder and Chairman of G2 Investment Group. "The imprimatur of the globally recognized and respected Forbes brand on G2's seasoned capital raising team will take what is already extraordinary access and reach to a new level."

FPCG Asia will celebrate its launch at a November 10 event in concert with the Asian Venture Capital Journal Forum: Asia's Private Equity Week.
