Ronald Bradley Skinner you have used your power to extort, murder, and endanger the lives of many people in society by selling illegal substances. You are indeed an evil man and when the day of reckoning is passed upon you I hope to God that you repent of all your sins.

The judge put on his black hat; Ronald Bradley Skinner you have been found guilty of the murders of Robin McNally and John Robert Gallagher. You will be taken from this place to a place where you will be hanged by the neck until you are dead. Take him down.

“I didn’t do it shouted Skinner in protest as the two officers removed him from the courtroom.

Six weeks in hospital with some decent food and nursing care saw all the boys from the Oakridge Children’s Home recover. Oakridge would never be used as a children’s home again it was bought by an anonymous buyer and demolished. In its place was built a park where children could play.

Mike Langley and his wife formed a group called Protection against Cruelty to Children in Care. They raised over a million pounds in donations after the discovery of Oakridge and other homes like it were being used to abuse Children.

Jackie came to live with the Langley’s where he continued his research to produce a substance called Fountain of Youth Oil which when rubbed into the skin made you look younger. Jackie made a lot of money from his inventions where he opened places for children who were orphaned to come and stay. Every effort was made to find the children decent homes to live. Adoptive parents were vetted on a regular basis too. There were no walls no gates and every child had his own room. The showers had hot running water, and the food was made to Jackie’s specifications. There were specially trained nurses and doctors to look after the children.

Simon Hudspith had a bill passed in parliament whereby checks could be made on any nursing or children’s home without warning.

Some twenty years later Jackie continued his research into preventative medicine and became the youngest professor in the world. His lectures around the world were famous. He was a regular writer in the Lancet medical journal.

“His phonic teaching methods are still being used in schools to help children learn more quickly how to read and write.

Elizabeth Atkinson the little girl that Jackie had taught to read and write became a teacher. She married Michael Douglas a teacher of history shortly after she had graduated and now has two girls of her own.

Elizabeth still uses the same technique to teach children how to read as was shown to her by Jackie Boyle. In some way or another Jackie Boyle had touched so many lives.

The orphan who rose above the poverty and the suffering to become the most recognised face in the world.
