The taxi arrived to take Michael and Johnny back to the airport. They carried the holdalls and the cases down stairs then they were put into the boot.

“I couldn’t be bothered getting on that bloody coach again Johnny. At least we will get to the airport quicker.

“The plane won’t leave any faster Michael.”

I know that; it just really annoys me having to wait whist people get on then wait again whilst the driver stores their cases.

“Suppose you are right.”

They drove the way they had come but only a lot faster; the taxi pulled in at Reina Airport.

They quickly put their baggage through without a hitch then went for a coffee and a sandwich.

Well that’s the first bit over; let’s hope that we are able to walk straight through at the other end. Some time later that evening the other passengers started arriving.

“Not long now said Johnny.

“Look Johnny; take it easy will you; if people see you as jumpy as this they are going to suspect something and we will get nicked.

“I’m sorry Michael.”

“Try and stay calm.”

“I don’t know how you do it mate, honestly.”

“Years of burgling houses whilst the occupants were asleep. You had to be silent and quick. I could go into bedrooms, open the drawers, and steal the jewellery whilst they turned over; never knowing I was even in the room.

The call for their flight was announced so they headed for the departure lounge.

Johnny seemed a lot calmer and more natural now as they handed in there passports and showed the Spanish girls their boarding passes.

Adios amigo’s he said as he got onto the plane.

As Ronnie had said the place was deserted; they collected their suit cases and the holdalls the car pulled up and the window went down.

“You Skinner’s mates?

“Put the bags in the boot and get in.”

“He asked where they were going and Johnny gave him the address.

“The driver never uttered another word after that until he stopped outside Johnny’s house.”

“Take out your cases and leave the other bags.”

What about my fags I paid for those.”

“It’s okay I have them in my case said Michael.”

The driver threw him a package once the cases were put down then the car sped away.”

Once inside Johnny put the kettle on and made them a nice cup of tea.

Get my fags out of your case Michael I’m gasping.”

Michael opened the suitcase where there were four cartons tucked under his clothes.
