Driving to the ferry terminal Robin McNally Alias Michael O’Leary booked his ticket then drove on board.

The ferry would take some three hours to reach Stranraer in Scotland. He went up on deck and looked out as the ferry moved ever closer towards Scotland.

He looked around to see if he’d been followed. They were just couples on day trips.

Michael had dyed his hair blonde so that no one would recognise him and the photo on his passport was a perfect match. He walked around the duty free shop and bought some cigars and Irish whiskey for his friend.

Michael placed them inside the case, along with two thousand pounds of his money. The rest of his money was left hidden in the basement in Ballconneely.”

If he was arrested and jailed the cottage was now his after he’d bought it from the people who had rented to him. They may get the two grand but he still had over thirty thousand left and he had bought two other cottages.

He figured even if he got five years for robbery he would only do three years and would be back on the street; sure they would follow him for a month or so but when the coast was clear he would slip away again as he had done before.

He checked in at the passport terminal where he sailed through without a hitch.

Michael got into his Jaguar sports car and drove away with a big grin on his face.

It was after nine when he drove to Johnny’s house.

He parked outside in the red Jaguar then locked the door.

“He rang the buzzer to Johnny’s house and when Johnny opened the door he got the shock of his life.

“What the hell is that? He tugged on the shoulder length blonde hair and laughed out loud as the two men embraced.

“Where have you been man; you haven’t been in touch for nearly two years then you just turn up.”

“How’s life then Johnny?

“Well I took your advice and bought a block of flats mate; I get over two hundred quid a week in rent.”

I’ve been over to Spain three times and I’ve been looking at properties over there mate.

Honestly Robin; you can live like a millionaire over there on a few hundred quid.

“Its Michael O’Leary now mate I changed my name by deed pole.

“You sly dog; Christ you even fooled me when you came to the door; then there’s the jag as well.”

“Yes I had to get from A to B so I learned how to drive.”

“So what brings you back?

“Got home sick I guess.” Michael opened his bag and threw him a bottle of whiskey and a box of cigars.”

“Cheers mate;

“They’re cheap as chips on the ferry.”

“How long are you back for?

“Just for a couple of weeks; unless you fancy going to Spain for a week.”

“We could go to Tenerife.”

“I hear the weather is warm there all the year round.”
