The seagulls began to fly overhead as the two tugs made ready to lead the Pride of Walk out to sea. The ropes were secured to the Merchant Ship from either side then they waited for the signal from the harbour master to gently pull the repaired vessel into the middle of the Tyne. The captain on board the Pride of Walker was in contact with the two tugs as they turned the ship and then lined her up ready to pull her out passed the bar at Tynemouth.

There was a calm sea running, as the ship slid silently down the Tyne.

Once the tugs had got the ship into deep water their job was done and the Pride of Walker let go of the tow ropes. The tugs retrieved the ropes then moved to each side of the river to allow the ship through the piers at Tynemouth.

“The captain thanked the tug boats and the harbour master before informing the engine room for full speed.

The ship then began to pick up speed and was about a mile away from the quay when the coast guard ordered the ship to stop so they could come to.

Bob Cole told Charlie Fairley that this was it now we can finally catch up with Robin McNally and they could put him away for a long time.

The Ship stopped and the dinghy with armed men came on board.

“When the men stormed the bridge he was ordered to stay put whilst his men searched the ship.

“Where is the bag captain?

“What bag are you talking about?

“Bob Cole showed him the photos and the captains face changed colour.

“The bag is in my cabin he said. Two officers went to the cabin and returned with the bag and handed it to Bob Cole. Charlie Fairley made ready with his camera and began to click away as the bag was about to be opened. “We have got you this time you swine said Bob as he opened the bag to reveal its contents.

All they found was several pairs of women’s underwear and some sex toys.

“What the hell is this; where are the stones captains?

“Stones what stones; I do not know what you are talking about.”

“We saw you and Ronnie Skinner passing this bag to you only yesterday.

“Yes a friend of mine asked me to bring him some sexy underwear and a few things to spice up their relationship; have I done anything wrong?

“Can we check the safe on board captain?

“Of course, we are always happy to co operate with the police.”

The safes were empty of any jewellery.”

“Looks like you’ve been had again Sergeant.”

“Bob was furious but he thanked the coast guard for their services.

As they left the ship and let it continue on its Journey.
