3. School Days

It was Monday. That meant Lola was up at 7am to get up the girls and get them ready for school. Sasha was in 6th grade and Braelyn was just in Kindergarten, but Lola already felt like she had two high school kids, although the girls wouldn't ever be together in high school as when Sasha would be in 9th grade and a high school freshman, Braelyn would in 5th grade at elementary school.

"Come on Sasha, Braelyn! Time to get up!" Lola shouted at 7:30 to the girls who were deep in slumber.  She didn't hear the girls move for 10 minutes before shouting again. "Sasha Aliyannah! Braelyn Mae! Get up and get ready for school!" Lola yelled. Still no movement. "Jesus Christ do I have to do everything in this house." She muttered to herself. "SASHA! BRAELYN !" She yelled as the hit a pan with a wooden spoon. "God mommy, can't we sleep!" Braelyn yelled from her room."It's 7am, Braelyn. That means time to get up and get ready for school." Lola groaned, pulling her 4 year old out of bed. "Come on Sash, your 11 not 1. You should know better to get up when I call." Lola groaned at Sasha as she crawled out of her bed. "You girls should realize it's hard for me doing this with your baby brother or sister in my belly." Lola said, almost out of breath. "Get daddy to get us up then." Braelyn yawned. "Stop with the cheek Braelyn Mae Calvert, he's had to go to work early for that school trip to the zoo today." Lola sighed, grabbing outfits for her daughters. "Mommy, when are we going to disney this year? I want to tell everyone." Sasha asked as she dressed herself and started brushing through her brown mane of hair. "I don't know if we'll make it this year, honey. Having the new baby won't be easy at Disney cos he or she won't be able to go on anything. I promise we will go when the baby's older. Remember we didn't go until Braelyn was 3." Lola explained. "Oh, ok." Sasha said, seeming very upset. "Are you ok, honey? I know you love the trips." Lola said, sitting on her eldest daughters bed and hugging her. "I'm fine, i'd rather have a new baby brother or sister." Sasha said. "That's good to know,  now go and get breakfast please." Lola said as she put on Braelyn's pants and did her hair. "I'll be one minute." She said as she tacked Braelyn's even worse hair. It was a stressy day ahead for Lola!
