Our relationship. It wasn't sonnet inspiring, the story of it won't make thousands want to listen. But it was complicated and it was special to us. It was certainly more than I bargained for from just seeing a boy with a football helmet across the room.

83. Epilogue

A few years pass and nothing changes and I've never been more happy for things to stay the same.

I guess things do change. Harry and I get married a couple of years later. There's not really a big ceremony or party or anything, we just sign the papers and I like it that way because we didn't feel like we needed a wedding, we didn't feel like being married was going to change us, it just felt like it completed us a little. We didn't want to suddenly start acting like we were some middle aged couple so I just move into the house with all of the guys and it's the most fun.

So even though a couple of things changed, nothing really did. I got a new house and a new name and a new ring, but all of the things that mattered stayed the same, all of the friendships, mine and Harry's relationship, all of our goals and dreams.

It's such a relief to be away from all of the drama we used to have. We still argue sometimes just like everybody but it's the best feeling to know that there isn't an argument in the world that could end everything, there's nothing that could have that affect on us anymore.

One argument we had comes to my mind from time to time. It was after I found out about Robin, after that bowling night when Harry picked me up from the party and we had a huge argument. I laugh thinking about it now because I was sure things were over that time. If only I could go back and tell myself that just a few years later I'd be married to him.

I remember telling him I didn't want things to get too serious between us. But now I'm 22, with a six year old step son and I don't know what I was making such a big deal out of because I don't think things could be more perfect.
