Who am I?

*This is my first Teen Wolf fanfiction and am putting on here to see if it is trash or not. I'm not sure if there are many Teen Wolf fans on here, but it seems like there aren't that many, so enjoy!*

Tera thinks she's pretty normal. Aside from the fact that she has no friends and has an obsession with a guy from her dreams. That was normal for her, just doing nothing as one trip to the bathroom changed her life, as she meets the man of her dreams, literally!

Tera’s P.O.V

I think I freaked him out— I need to learn how to be more normal. Well he isn’t exactly normal. He wasn’t all human, and nether was that thing, it wasn’t even human! It was weird looking, I mean it had the head and body of a lion, but a snake like tail and something like small wings! I’ve never seen anything like it!

I was sitting in the courtyard in my corner. There was a bench there so I was happy. Having the bench meant I was able to sit on the table with my back against the wall comfortably. As I sat like this, I normally drew that man— Derek, but now I had flipped to the very last page of my book, and I was drawing the creature I saw.

The more I drew, the less I remembered of it which confused me. I have a pretty good memory so it made me question what the creature was; I’m a bit obsessed when it comes to mythical creatures. So what can erase your memory after a short period of time? Wait— could it be a—,

“Tera!” A voice shouted from in front of me causing me to jump and looked up from my book to see a group of people standing in front of me. It consisted of Lydia, the most popular girl in school, her strawberry blonde hair in messy curls around her head, with light make up making her green eyes stand out. She was wearing her usual short shirt which made wince.

There was also Derek standing there, an annoyed look on his face, his leather jacket making him look even more pissed off. Next to him was Scott, a geeky guy who plays lacrosse and suddenly grew a foot overnight about a year or two ago. His baggy red jumper and blue jeans matched his brown eyes and short brown hair making him look like the boy next door.

Sort of hiding behind Scott was his best friend Stiles, wearing a light flannel over some shirt and dark blue jeans, his hair spiked up making his face cuter— did I seriously just say that— well think it?!

“What do you guys want?” I asked, curious to know why they were annoying me. Scott sighed and took a step closer to me, but Derek held him back. Scott frowned and took a step back to stand with Stiles when I noticed it. They were the two who ran me over this morning! “You two knocked me down in the hallway this morning,” I was so pissed off! These two guys are really nice and don’t do anything to annoy me, but they just ran through me and didn’t even apologise.

Stiles and Scott looked taken aback at my outburst— of course— I don’t talk to them. I don’t talk to anyone at school. Derek was the first person aside from Mum in the last eight months. Mum thinks it’s just a really late effect from moving here three years ago, and that it only hit me eight months ago.

“Look Tera, we’re sorry about this morning, but we need to talk to you about what you saw in the bathroom earlier.” I sighed and held out my book to them, showing them what I was drawing,

“You mean you want to talk to me about that?” I asked and they all nodded as they looked at the picture. “Do you guys know what it is?” they all shook their heads and Lydia spoke up,

“We were wondering if you might, and that is why you didn’t freak out when you saw it.” I sighed and sat up properly taking my book back from them, sitting it on my lap and packed my pencils up. Can I tell them what it is? I mean, is it important? What if I’m wrong like I usually am when it comes to things like answering questions?

I mean, why am I even talking to them? And didn’t Derek say he didn’t want me near him ever again? Does that mean hanging out with the people he hangs out with? No, what? I’m not hanging out with these guys, I’m just talking to them and I am never going to talk to them again! But why am I talking to them?

“Can you just answer the goddamn question?!” I jumped at Derek's voice and turned to look at him. Why was he yelling at me?

“I thought you didn’t want me to talk to you ever again?” Derek groaned and spun around growling before storming over to me so he was mere inches from my face. I froze as I stared into his glowing blue eyes. Why is he so mad? I whimpered and before I could stop myself, my hand lashed up and slapped him across the face, causing his head to lash to the side, his eyes returning to green as he took a step back, holding his cheek.

“Did that actually hurt you?” Lydia asked Derek who nodded,

“Yeah— and I wonder why? What the hell are you?” I frowned at him, the old sarcastic side of me returning for the first time in three years.

“I’m human, no need to ask what you are!” I growled and stood up, slinging my bag over my shoulder. I had pushed past the group when I stopped. They came to me for answers, and obviously they need to know what the creature is. I need to tell them, “The thing you’re looking for— it’s called a Chimera. It’s a Greek monster and is a very, very bad omen. Have fun.” I muttered the last part as I walked off.

“We need to stop her.” Growled Derek to his friends, who were barely in my hearing range now,

“No we don’t Derek. If she’s right about that thing being a Chimera, we just need to wait. It will go after her again.” I gasped and sped up slightly, not wanting to hear anymore. Why does it want me?
