Some of us are better at hiding it.


6. First Step

I'm depressed.

And they say the first step is admitting it.

So here it is.

I'm depressed.

I am not worth it.

But I think the whole step thing is a tad ridiculous.

The first step should be hating yourself.

We set these steps up from worst to better.

"Admitting we have a problem" is giving us a false hope the "problem" will get fixed.

I honestly don't think depression is a problem.

It's a stage.

The first stage is hating yourself.

The final stage is when you get the courage to admit you're an okay human who must've done something to deserve this life.

Those are the real steps.

And I'm stuck with the first one.
