Fairy tales

Fairy tales is a part of every childhood. But in my case, it followed further than childhood. I'm 17 now, and I still love them. My mom used to read them out loud, until I was five, and... well, she weren't there anymore. The only thing I have left from her, is these stories.

But what if, some day I recognized some object from my stories? It sounds crazy, but I swear, it happened. A white tail and a big pocketwatch chasing after it, and I think it said something about being late. Would you follow it? I did. I was curious. One of my stories had gotten real. But I definitely didn't believe that I would fall. Deeper and deeper. I couldn't tell when it would end, but I could tell when it began.

4. Through the door

I found myself in a place surrounded by trees. I could see something red. I looked down, and I had again changed my clothes. My fine blue dress, had changed into a lightly brown/grey dress, with a completely red coat. I think my next fairy tale was 'Red riding hood'.

There! The rabbit! I noticed something heavy on my left side. I even had the basket! I guess I had to bring it to my grandmother. Or... well, in this world. My real grandmother's dead. I started walking. It was like my feet just knew were I was suppose to go.

The forest was wonderful! The weather was great, and the sun just reached the bottom though the leaves. But I could here growling. The wolf, I had forgotten. "So little girl... where're you going?" He was like the wolves from real time, walking on four, grey and black. He was beautiful, but scary. But I was a character in a story, I knew how to play my role. "I'm on my way to my grandma's house. She's sick and I have wine and cake for her," I said with my most girly voice I could come up with. "Really? And where does she live?" I didn't like to know what he would do with information I was about to give him. But I couldn't stop my voice. "The end of this forest." "Great, why don't you collect some flowers for her. I bet she would like it." I couldn't resist. "Sure! That's a great idea!" Against my will, I started collecting flowers, while seeing the wolf running towards her house.

As soon as the wolf was no longer to see, I broke the trance, and ran towards the house as well. I opened the door slowly. "Grandma'?" I could hear a snoring from the bed. My own grandma' snored as well. I giggled a little. I drew the curtains away, and saw my grandma' laying in the bed sleeping. My grandma'... the dead one. I could see her once more. She looked so peaceful. Then I could hear the door. The wolf! I hid behind the curtains. "So... Here you are, grandma'. You look delicious!" He was about to eat my grandma'! I hadn't seen her for years! I wouldn't let him. I looked desperately in the basket for something to use. I stumbled over something sharp. A knife? How come sweet, innocent little red riding hood had a knife in her baske? Anyways, jumped at the wolf. He seemed really surprised. "Why are you here!?" He said with his eyes wide open. "You aren't supposed to be here until I ate granny!" Why did he know that? "Well, I'm here now, and I'm not letting you eat my grandmother!" With those words, I stabbed Mr Wolf in the heart. "This... is not... how... the story... is suppose to... end..." That was his last words.

I was out of my breath, as I lifted myself away from the wolf. I looked at grandma' again. She looked exactly how I remembered her. A friendly face. I missed her a lot. We were like best friends back then. I kissed her forehead, put the basket by her feet, and walked through the door.
