"You can't break a girl who's already broken and you can't hurt a girl who's already dead inside."
Pain, it's all that exists in this horrid world. Judgmental monsters, people who scold you for being yourself. Just being yourself, you are told to stop being a wreck. You feel like you are slowly losing connection to your body, fading into darkness, away from the light. Further and further you fall, no one is there to catch you. The only way out is pain, pain is the key. The blade, it haunts you until you can't resist the urge to watch the thick red liquid drip from the cut. Suddenly it all becomes numb, no one cares to listen. No one pays attention, you keep falling further. Your echoes cannot be heard, no one is going to save you. You are stuck in the dark with no way out. It all comes down to that one person that is your last hope. Help. Help me please. Help me escape these demons.

3. Chapter 2

        Chapter 2
Great, another day back at the hell hole. Another seven hours to be tortured by those idiots. I deserved it though, I deserved to be beaten to a pope. I was ugly, I was stupid, and I was useless. Most of all, I was hated by everyone.
That new girl was gonna be brainwashed into beating me as well, I actually have hope that maybe she won't listen, that she will not follow a pack, but instead lead and maybe talk to me without a sick expression on her face.
That's not going to happen, no one can look at you without getting sick and wanting to throw up everywhere. You are pathetic and you are a piece of worthless trash. No one loves you, you are all alone.
I shook my head as I grabbed my bag and left the house, locking the door after me. I needed to walk, I learned from past that riding the bus will just result me in getting my ass whipped. I sighed as I blasted Pink's 'Fucking Perfect' as I started walking to the school. I usually make it there in ten to fifteen minutes. Some days I end up late. Today wasn't one of those days. I didn't take long getting dressed. I just threw on a hoodie with skinny jeans as usual. There wasn't anything particularly interesting about my outfits, neither was my soul interesting. It was just dark. Eventually, I reached the building.
People started looking and pointing at me while laughing. My head hung low as I walked up to the school, much to my dismay, I end up bumping into someone. Great.
"I-I'm sorry." I mumbled as I clung to my messenger bag.
"It's okay, it was my fault. I'm clumsy. Already I have made a fool of myself and it's my first day here." My eyes looked up at the girl in front of me. It was the new girl who lived down the street.
I shook my head, "Sorry." I then scurried off, ignoring the laughs of multiple students who noticed my mishap.
"Yeah, why don't you just shut the Fuck up, you are nothing." Isaac, Mollie's boyfriend, spat as he pushed me back to the ground. I clutched my stomach in pain as he kicked me again, again and again until it stopped. Great, here comes the-
A fist made contact with my face as I fell back at the impact. "Hey! What are you doing to her? Get off of her!" Someone yelled. My eyes were squinted shut, but I struggled to open them and when I did, I saw the girl from earlier.
"Why are you trying to defend her? She's nothing but a piece of shit that no one cares about!" He yelled at her.
"She is not a piece of shit, she is human, we all are. We are all equal and we are nothing less than anyone else. Plus, guys aren't supposed to hit girls. You are so pathetic beating on her like that. Grow the Fuck up and get out of here!" He scoffed and marched off in the other direction. The girl stared at me with sympathetic eyes as she came closer. I cowered into the corner as she came closer. "I'm not going to hurt you, are you alright?"
I looked over at her, she was squatted in front of me holding out a hand. "Wh-why did you help me?" My voice cracked.
"Because, guys don't have the right to beat on you. He's an ass hole, don't listen to him. You are none of the things he says. Maybe we should get you to the office." She held her hand out to me.
"A-are you s-sure you want to walk with me? P-people will give you dirty looks." She shook her head.
"I don't care, you're human, I'm human. And I'll be damned to just let you sit here like this." I smiled weakly as I grabbed to her hand. She started to the stand up. With every movement I made, my body ached. I whimpered. "Sorry, I'll be gentler." Finally after one more pull, I was up. I stumbled as I gained my balance and we slowly started walking to the office. People shot daggers at the girl next to me. She ignored it and kept walking.
"E-excuse me, but what is your name?" I asked her.
"My name is Calashe Ray Jones. Just call me Cala or C. What about you?" She looked over to me.
"E-Elonayain Rellaso Jackson. Call me Elony or El." She smiled at me.
    "That's a beautiful name." I smiled lightly.
"Thanks, yours is pretty too." We finally reached the office. Cala opened the door and pushed me in with her arm as she closed the door. The Secretary looked up from her computer and her eyes widened.
    "My dear, what happened?"
"Some guy was beating on her, he pushed her against the lockers and kicked her multiple times." The lady looked at me with sympathetic eyes as she lead me to a chair that was on the wall.
"Can you tell me who did this?" My head hung low. I didn't want to say it. "You can tell me."
"I-Isaac Newton." She nodded before walking into the office. Cala took a seat next to me.
"What's hurting you most?" I pointed to my side. She nodded before slumping back in the seat next to me. "Can I ask you something?" I hesitantly nodded. "Are you always treated like this?" I nodded slowly.
"Ever since primary school. No one bothered to help. I'm too weak to stand up to them. They are right about everything." She shook her head at me.
"No they aren't, you are none of the things they say about you. Labels are for soup cans and judging by the looks of it, you aren't one. So, that makes all statements false." I sighed. "Well, as I said I'm Calashe. I'm sure that you know I'm new here judging by my clumsy move earlier." I nodded slightly.
"It was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going." She chuckled.
"I guess accidents happen. Hey, are you gonna be okay?" I shrugged.
"I'm used to it. I hurts, but I will be fine." She frowned.
"Look, if you ever need someone to talk to or to hang out with, I'm here. Even though we just met, I feel like we could become great friends." I nodded.
The Secretary returned with the principle at her side. "Alright Ms. Jackson, can you tell me the full story?" I nodded.
"I was about to head to my next period when Isaac pushed me. I tried to get around him, but he hit me and I fell. He kicked me repeatedly and punched me in the face. She ended up getting him to stop and walk away." I gestured to Cala. She nodded.
"Okay, well, I'm ordering a suspension for a week. Does anything hurt?" I pointed at my side. "Okay, well, let's have you go to the nurse. I think it would be best if you took the day off and come back tomorrow." I nodded.
"Do you want me to take her?" Cala asked.
"Yeah, but then you need to get to class." She nodded as she helped me stand up.
"Ms. Jackson, if Mr. Newton happens to hurt you again, please come to one of us. In the mean time, stay away from him and avoid anyone in his line of friends." I nodded.
"Thanks, sir." He nodded before returning back to his office. Cala helped lead me down the hall and to the nurse. Sue knocked on the door and a woman in her late forties answered. She gestured for me to come in.
"Take a seat on the chair there. What happened?" She grabbed a clipboard.
"Someone was beating her in the hall. We just came from the office. They directed we come here to get her checked." She nods writing across the board.
"What is your name sweetheart?" Her eyes looked at me.
    "Elony Jackson." She nods.
"Are you feeling dizzy? Does your vision feel like it's going blurry at all?" I shook my head. "Alright, are you feeling any pain in your head at all?" Once again, I shook my head.
"Alright, well, let's get a look at where you were struck. Where were you hit Hon?" My breath hitched. I didn't want her to see how my ribs stuck out. I shook my head frantically. "Where were you hit Ms. Jackson?"
"She was hit in the side. At least that's what's she told me in the office." Cala explained.
The nurse shot me a strange look. I sighed and pulled up my sweater. I heard the too gasp and of course they were looking at the way my bones stuck out. "My dear, what- how-?" The older woman couldn't gather words.
"I uh- I was hit in the side." I pointed to the place awkwardly.
"How much do you weigh?" Cala asks.
    "I don't know." I shrug.
"You are practically a skeleton!" Cala shouted.
The nurse shook her head and slowly examined the area where I was hit. I winced as she touched my skin. "You're bruising. Nothing is broken. You have a few small cuts. With bandages it will be fixed. But, as for your weight, you are extremely unhealthy." My sweater solids down, covering the ugly. "I think you should just get home and get some rest. Maybe even take tomorrow off because sweetheart, you don't look good at all. You need some rest and you need to eat something." I sighed, but nodded.
"What's your mom's number?" Cala asked.
"She's at work. You can't call her. I'll just walk home."
"Are you crazy!? You are not walking home. Ms. Can I take her home?" The nurse nodded.
"I'll call the office and let them know. Try and get some rest sweetheart." The nurse sent me a sad look. I wasn't gonna do that. I just nodded and followed Cala out of the building.
"What is your house?" She asked as she pulled into my road. I point at the run down house off to the left. She pulls into the drive way and puts the car into park. "I just realized that I live down the street for you. We should hang out sometime." I nodded, not wanting to say anything.
"Thanks for helping me today." She nodded. I sighed as I exited the vehicle. She pulls out and heads the opposite way, obviously going back to the school. I sigh as I unlock my door and lock it behind me as I enter.
I just met this girl, why was she being nice to me? Every one hates me, every one. Just watch, they will have her brainwashed by tomorrow. Soon enough, she would be spitting insults at her as she passed the halls. At least it was nice while it lasted. It was time for me to get some rest, at least I hope I can even go to sleep. This pain is unbearable. So, I guess sweet dreams to me.

Clashes is played by Kristen Stewart and Elony is played by Avril Lavigne. Just a note. And I don't have a permanent schedule. Sorry about that. My schedule has been jam packed lately. I have company coming this weekend and we have all been running around trying to get things ready. I apologize. I usually update twice a week. And this story is a bit more dramatic and sad. So, if you can't read things like that, then I recommend you don't read this story. Also another thing, this is on my Quotev profile, 0EmbraceTheDark0 and on my Wattpad account, _Sailem_. Just a note. And that's it. Thanks.
