19. Chapter 18

Hilary's POV

She's got a smile it seems to me

Reminds me of childhood memories

Where everything

Was as fresh as the bright blue sky

Now and then when I see her face

She takes me away to that special place

And if I'd stare too long

I'd probably break down and cry.

My music stopped as I pulled out my headphones from my ears. I controlled my breathing as I came from a light jog around a couple of blocks. I walked to the door and grabbed my keys to unlock it. Stepping inside, I grabbed an ice cold bottle of water and chugged it down. The house was quiet. It sounded nice.

I opened the tv and saw that Full House was on.

"Well great way to spend a Saturday." I said to no one.

"Hilary! Open the door!" A shout came from my door.

I opens the door to see no one else but Audrey.

"Oh hey Aud." I mumbled.

"Well great way to greet a visitors." She said rolling her eyes.

"No need for attitude. I just came from jogging."

"That's perfect." She squealed.

"Perfect for what?"

"Nothing."

I squinted my eyes and just let it go.

"Hil, can you come to the mall so I can pick up some clothes?" She asked.

"But I just came from jogging." I whined.

"It'll be a fast pick up, I promise."

"Fine. But it has to be fast." I told her putting on my shoes. I grabbed my keys and wallet and and we walked out the door.

We both got into the car and Audrey started the car.

"What clothes did you order this time?" I asked.

"Just some swim wear."

"For what?"

"You ask so many questions."

"So I've been told." I sighed slightly remembering when Luke told me that.

We pull into the mall parking and Audrey leads me into a swim wear store. I sit on the comfortable waiting chairs while Aud went to do her thing.

"Okay look." She said.

I looked up to a black string bikini and a pink and white bikini.

"Oh those are nice. Can we go now?" I frowned.

"Wait. This is for you." She said handing the black two piece.

"But you bought this. And plus you know I don't even like swimming." I explained handing it back.

"I know. But you're gonna need to for tonight." She said.

"Audrey what are you talking about?" I asked completely confused. I tried to remember if I made plans but I know I didn't.

"Well..." She started.

"Well what?"

"Calum invited me to his pool party today and I want you to come with me." She said.

"Woah, woah. I didn't agree to all of this." I stood up.

"I know, that's why I'm asking. Duh." She laughed. "Just come Hil, it'll be fun. Please?"

"But I have to do my assignments for school." I said trying to find excuses.

"That's why it's online. You can do it whenever you want."

"I'm still not going." I said crossing my arms.

"Luke will be there." She mumbled. I'm suddenly having a change of mind...

"Fine! But I'm not staying long." I strictly told her.

"Yay! You'll have so much fun you'll never want to leave." She smiled.

We walked through the mall and Audrey brought some very unnecessary things such as a air mattress and about six different phone cases. I hate shopping with her for this exact reason.

She was getting some new makeup from MAC and was right behind her, longing to go home.

"Wait Audrey, how did Calum even get in contact with you?" I asked.

"He found my Twitter. And he just asked from there." She said looking at some foundation.

"I thought you didn't like him." I shrugged.

"I don't. He thought that if I didn't come I was playing hard to get. Don't want him to get the wrong idea." She explained.

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Are you ready to go yet?" I whined.

"After I buy this."

""That's what you said last time." I scoffed.

Luke's POV

The boys and I are getting ready for a pool party we wanted to throw. The pool was at Calum's parents house and I needed to bring was food and drinks while Ashton and Mike got games and stuff. And after we would just meet up there.

It was a easy shopping really. Burgers, hot dogs, chips, soda, beers. All that good stuff. I checked out and put the stuff in the back of the car and drove to Cal's.

Once I parked, I picked up some bags and grabbed the key that was always under the door mat.

"No Mali! That doesn't go there!" I heard Calum whine.

"Well sorry, I didn't know everything had to be perfect for you." She scoffed.

"I'm here!" I yelled. Calum came out of the kitchen and helped grab some bags from me.

"Thanks."

"No problem."

"Hey Mali." I said giving he a hug.

"Hi Lucas." She smiled.

"I don't get it. How come she's allowed to call you that but we can't?" Calum asked.

"I don't know. Mali's nice." I shrugged.

"Unbelievable." He scoffed while I laughed.

"Did the guys call you yet?" I asked.

"They texted that they were on their way." I nodded.

And 'on their way' became an hour and a half.

"Where are they?" Calum asked looking out the window.

"I don't know, but I'll start up the grill." Mali said walking out to the backyard.

"I'll call them." I said. Calum nodded and I dialed the number.

Hilary's POV

"Audrey, it doesn't look right on me." I looked in the mirror and saw the suit on me.

"It looks great! What are you talking about?" She put her hands on her hips.

"It shows too much skin. I don't feel good."

"You look good. And your body is to die for." She exclaimed.

I was super insecure when it came to my body. Aud always says I look great but I just don't feel like it. My parents, so called friends, and even Zachary have told me that I could have a better body and I just stuck onto believing that.

"No I don't. I'm not going."

"Are you serious? Hilary, stop it. You're beautiful and you have a perfect body. I really don't understand how you don't realize it. You're going."

I couldn't battle with that.

"Okay." I sighed quietly. She also sighed and sat next to me.

"I'm sorry." She said giving me a hug. " I just don't want you to think that anymore because you really are beautiful." She smiled.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"C'mon, I have to get changed." She said pulling me to no where.

"Why do I need to come? We're in my room." I laughed.

"Sorry I forgot." She giggled.
