Pat and Michael didn’t expect what they were confronted with on arrival at Heathrow. The press were waiting and again they wanted the story. They left the terminal building with their cases and the camera’s flashing; dodging the press they got into the car where they had parked it and drove away.

Sydney had bought a nice Ghanaian dress for his mother out of the money that his mother had given him and then he handed a box to Pat and said that it was for them. He also gave his friend a gift. When he opened it he saw a bible.

“Thank you Sydney said Jimmy; See you tomorrow?

“Yes; good night Doctor Connors; Mrs Connors and thank you for a wonderful holiday I shall not forget it.

“Good night Sydney and you’re welcome.”

Sydney opened the door and took his case in as the car pulled away.

It was almost three in the morning and his mother was fast asleep in bed.

Michael backed the car into the driveway then they took the cases through the garage and into the side door that led into the kitchen.

Pat left the cases in the garage and locked the doors.

Although they would have been eating breakfast in Canada at this time they all went to bed.

Jimmy put on his pyjamas then got into bed he opened the bible and hand written inside was the words; Greater love hath no man than this; that a man lay down his life for his friends.

John 15.13

Thank you Sydney.

Jimmy smiled as he felt the claw around his neck; he placed the bible on his bedside table and turned out the light.
