It was five thirty when the plane finally landed in Pearson International Airport. The boys had fallen asleep and didn’t even know the plan had landed. They waited until the aircraft reached the terminal building before waking the boys’ to tell them they had landed. They went through customs then got their luggage. The boys’ were happy to pull their luggage along as they now had another two hour journey by coach to Yorkville in Ontario.

Once the luggage was stored onboard the coach the boys ran to the back and sat down. The coach left the terminal after everyone got on board.

The boys looked out of the window where they could see the picturesque landscape with rivers and mountains.

“Look up there mam, is that an eagle?

“No, I think it’s a buzzard son.”

By twelve o’clock Canadian time, the boys’ were hungry it was really 7am in the morning in the UK so Michael gave the boys’ a pack of sandwiches, a Mars Bar, and a bottle of orange juice each.

They put their wrappers in the plastic bag attached to the seat then tucked in.

The coach travelling at 50 miles per hour wound its way around the countryside until they hit the highway and the coach was able to pick up speed.

They Reached Yorkville Ontario at ten past two; Jimmy was keen to point it out on his new watch and even told them what time it was back home.

The driver let them off on avenue road where they were met by Pats parents.

“Hello; said Harry Foster to the boys’ in his North American accent.

Hello said the boys’ as Pat hugged her mother June.

Michael shook hands with his father in law then hugged his mothering law before introducing their adopted son and Sydney to them.

“We made Lunch for you all because we didn’t know whether or not you had eaten anything.”

Well the boys ate a sandwich two hours ago, but you know what boys’ are like mother; they are always hungry.”

“That’s good dear, it shows they are healthy. Start to worry when they stop eating.”

“You’re right of course.”

“Come on then lets get you all home then we can show you to your rooms.

They put the cases inside the large people carrier and then sped off down the road.

“Are we there yet asked the boys’

“Not far now boys’ said Harry as he turned right. The houses were all dethatched and huge in comparison to his at home.

Harry clicked a button and the double gate began to open.

Wow! Said Jimmy; you live here granddad?

“We sure do.”
