Amy's POV

As I walked around in the hallways, hanging up posters for a missing English Cocker Spaniel named Aquarius, I sighed. It was my dog and it made me so sad to know that I couldn't take care of her! Okay, it's bad for me to sneak around the school hanging up posters on a Saturday night but what else could I do?! During daytime, there's usually people who are at the school and I had already hung up the posters around where I live and where the school is. I turned on the flashlight because it was starting to become dark and it started to freak me out. When I turned it on, a person, I couldn't see the face, was standing in front of me and I screamed. He quickly put his hand over my mouth and made sure that nobody heard me.

"What the f*ck is wrong with you?" he whispered, he had an Australian accent like most of the kids who go to this school, and I flashed the light in his face. It didn't seem to make him 'blind' but I could see his face. He put his hand down from my mouth and I stared at him. Calum.

"Oh, it's you," he said after he saw my face.

"Yea, it's me. You got a problem with that, f*ckboy?" I said but then I realized I spoke and mentally hit my head on the wall behind me.

"So, you can speak! I thought you were one of those 'unable to speak' people," he said and I rolled my eyes. I continued hanging up the posters and he followed me. Once he noticed the dog on the poster, he widened his eyes.

"So, you're looking for that dog?" he asked and I looked at him. He knew something.

"Yea, I'm looking for Aquarius. Have you seen her?" I asked and he started laughing.

"Aquarius? I named her that, too. She's over at my house with my other two dogs," he said and I widened my eyes.

"I want my dog back," I said and he took my hand and took me to his house.

Once we were there, I was so relieved. I thought I had lost Aquarius for ever but here she was, right in front of me.

"Thanks, Calum," I said and looked at him.

"Yea, sure. It's fine. I really didn't need another dog and I was gonna give him to Luke," he said and I smiled.

"Well, I'll see you at school on Monday. Hopefully you don't bother me again," I said and I took the leash and took Aquarius outside. I looked back at Calum and saw him smiling.

Did I actually start a new friendship?
