Athena's POV

"DAD!" I yelled as I walked into the kitchen.

"Yes, spawn?"

"First of all, do not call me spawn, second of all, I'm bored." I stated.

"Good for you, Jerry."

"No, don't call me Jerry, either."

"So you're saying that we just have to call you by your real name?" He asked.

"Yeah, pretty much."

"That just won't do. REMUS, COME HERE!" He shouted and soon enough, my godfather stepped into the room, looking a slight bit disgruntled.

"What do you want, Pad- Sirius?" Remus corrected himself almost immediately and it made me sort of sad to see that. Dad also looked kind of unhappy with it.

"This child needs a nickname. I refuse to call her 'Just Athena'."

"Didn't you hear? We already have her a nickname,"

"Great, what is it?"

"Shithead." He smiled and I smacked his arm.

"That isn't very nice, you git."

"Neither was that, shithead."

"You know what, I'm done with you two. I'm going to find Tonks." I announced.

"Hate to tell you, but she just left." Remus told me with a fake sympathetic smile.

"Oh Merlin, I'm stuck with you two?"

"Love you too, Athena." Dad shrugged, laughing.

"I didn't say I didn't love you, I just meant that you're both annoying as hell."

"Just like you, young one." Remus smiled and patted me on the head and I swatted his hand away.

"You! You see what you left me with for twelve years?!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air.

"Well I didn't exactly chose for that to happen, but no one insults my Moony in front of me." Dad said, picking me up and shaking his head. "Do you even eat anything? God, you weigh like five pounds."

"Well I'm sorry I'm not fat enough for you. Now if you don't mind, could you put me down?"

"It wasn't really a request."

"Too bad for you then, isn't it? We're going to go on a little tour of my childhood home." He said, carrying me out of the kitchen.

"Wasn't exactly a home, though, was it?" I muttered, darkly to myself, not intending for him to hear it.

"Well no, not really. At least it was something. Plus, I lived with James after I ran away from this place, so it wasn't too bad."

"Still, a parent shouldn't treat a child like that." I said with distaste.

"You're right, but my parents thought differently." He sighed, stopping in front of a room. "This was my old bedroom." He smiled, sitting me on the ground and opening the door. I peered inside to see posters lined on the wall and the Gryffindor colors.

"It's your personality defined."

"Damn right it is. My parents hated it. That might be why I loved it so much." He smiled.

"Oh, what a rebel you are." I smiled and poked his arm. He laughed and walked in, collapsing on the bed.

"Yes. well, more like disowned. After I was sorted into Gryffindor, my parents wanted nothing to do with me. Didn't bother me much, though it still kind of stung. I never really agreed for their hatred of muggles and muggle-borns." He shrugged and I looked at him sympathetically. "Well what do you think you're doing? We have a whole lifetime of catching up to do."

I had no idea how long I'd been talking to dad until Fred came to get us because it was time to eat dinner.

"What on earth were you two doing?" Remus asked us.

"Talking," I shrugged. Having dad around made my whole mood lift. He was innocent, just like I knew. And he was here with me. Fred was beside me, holding my hand under the table which gave me this overwhelming sense of comfort, and I didn't want him to ever let go.

"So, it's your last year at Hogwarts," dad said, talking to me and both the twins. We nodded.

"Have any ideas on what you're doing afterwords?" The twins glanced at Mrs. Weasley who had her eyebrows raised.

"Auror." I muttered. He looked at me, shocked for a moment, then smiled.

"You two?"

"Not a clue," they said at the same time, but I could see the corners of there mouth twitching Into a smile.

"You lying prats." I said so only they could hear me. They looked at me and smiled cheekily.

"Nobody needs to know that," They told me. Weasleys Wizars Wheezes was full steam ahead, since Harry had generously given the twins his Tri-Wizard winnings. I'd been helping them test new products and crest them since they arrived here last week. Without Molly knowing, of course.

"Well, thank you." I smiled at Mrs. Weasley gratefully. "I'm going to go upstairs and actually start my homework." I lied easily and walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs to the bedroom that I was staying in. I had this one to myself and I didn't know why, Because it felt kind of rude making the others share, but they didn't mind.

I collapsed on my bed and stared at the ceiling, wondering if things would ever be the same. Voldemort was back, dad still had to hide from the ministry and Harry was in terrible danger. I was in my last year of school and I was in no way ready for what might become after words. This year was definitely not going to be like any other, with the Ministry of Magic watching Dumbledore's every move incase he says something about Voldemort.

"Athena?" Fred asked, opening the door.

"Lay with me," I said softly and he wasted no time in climbing in bed with me.

"You alright?"

"Shh," I shushed him. "Just lay with me. No talking." I said and he understood, shutting his mouth. I smiled at the peacefulness of the whole situation. Him, laying and holding me and me, laying in his protective arms. I loved him and he loved me, and that's all I needed to know. That's all I wanted to know.
