After I tell Karen's aunt that I'll be staying, I head back downstairs to check on Andrea.

I walk slowly because I'm extremely sore.

I walk across the gameroom to her small room.

I peek my head in and she's sound asleep.

Her left arm is laying apart from her body so she doesn't detach the tube.

"Poor thing" I say quietly to myself.

As I turn to leave, I hear a whisper.

"Yes, it's me" I say.

"C-Can you come back?"

I walk back into the room and over to the left side of the bed.

"What's wrong, Andrea?"

"Nothing, I'm just lonely" she says.

"You've been alone for two hours" I laugh.

"It's still not fun. I need company when I wake up" she yawns.

"Did I wake you?" I ask.

"Yes, but I'm a light sleeper. It's okay" she quietly replies.

"Are you still tired?"

"Yes, very" she laughs.

"Go back to sleep"

"Will you stay until I fall asleep?" She asks.

"Yes" I smile at her.

Her delicate, tiny left hand slides into my right.

She closes her eyes and faintly smiles.

She begins to talk even though her eyes are closed.

"I may be sick and stuff, but I've had the best time with you"

"I've had the most amazing time with you" I say.

Her smiles grows.

"I'm glad..."

She falls asleep.

"Me too" I smile at her.

I wake up to a door slamming in the distance.

I still feel Allen's hand in mine.

I turn my head to him.

He's sitting in my wheelchair.

His head is resting next to my arm.

"Allen" I say softly.

He wakes up.

"Hey" he looks up and smiles at me.

His head is still laying next to me.

I scoot my body down the bed so my face is level with his.

He pulls our hands up to his chest and puts his other hand on top of ours.

"I told you that you didn't have to stay after I fell asleep" I whisper.

"I didn't want to leave" he smiles. "And it's not because I didn't want to leave you in case you got hurt"

"Then why?" I ask.

"Because" his voice changes to a whisper, "I didn't want you to be lonely."

He rests his chin on the pile of our hands.

I smile big at him.

"Thank you"

"You're very welcome" he smiles just as big back at me.
