The Meaning Of

During a discussion about the meaning of life with my friend, we somehow began writing this story. I would write an installment, and then she would, completely making it up as we went. This is the result. Basically, for 70 some years, my friend searches for the grand question and answer to the meaning of life. Finally, after all that time, we come in contact again.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I agreed to help Jason, but told him that if it lasted longer than 6 months, he needed to take me back so that I could leave. I wanted to help her but I didn't. I had other things to do. More important things to do, like take care of my family. Speaking of family, they were probably worried about me. I instantly felt regret about my decision. But before I could speak up and tell Jason that I'd changed my mind, he informed me that we'd made it to our next stop. How many stops were there to get to Delta Junction? If Delta Junction was even a real place. We docked the boat and went outside onto the deck. We'd made it to a small town of Sitka. I noticed that the men that took me from the airport took me hundreds of miles away from Delta Junction. If I didn't go with them I would've been only 10 hours away rather than 20 hours away. Why did they do that? What was the sole purpose of this journey? I explained this to Jason and he told me that he already knew this since he came from Delta Junction to help me. Were the men trying to diverge me from finding Carmen? Did they not want Carmen to be found? Would we see those men again? Probably. Jason told me that his vehicle was close by and that we were going to have to drive the rest of the way. He also says we have to go more inland, so we don't have to drive over water. Thank God, I think to myself. I was so tired of seeing water, but I was also tired of seeing white.
